This is a traditional Spanish restaurant - the owner Manuel Piqueres is from Santander in northern Spain. It is off the tourist path - here you will find locals and business people, but unlikely you will see any tourists. Part of the reason is that it is located on a side street in a business area of Santurce. The seafood... More

This restaurant was essentially a Chinese eatery that is now an eclectic restaurant owned by a charming Spaniard from Cantabria. The decor is not fancy, and actually quite crude, but the food reflects the owner's heritage in Spanish food. I had an excellent snapper that was fresh, fresh, fresh. My wife had prawns. They allow you to being your favorite... More

Casa Manolo is a well known restaurant in the heart of Santurce.Even though is Northern Spain type cuisine, he had the ability to blend well with the flavors of the Island over the years. It is not the prettiest place, but I'm sure you will be please with exquisite flavors of its different plates.Top fish, cook nearly to perfection, and if... Chef Manolo itself will take your order, don't pass on the tapas. Bring your own bottle of wine. Food taste awesome, servings rather small.

The best Bogavante (Lobster) and Fetuccine, Rodaballo (Halibut) at Casa Manolo. Manolo is a Spanish character that will make you feel at home the moment you wallk in. He knows his business. The best food in town. Bring your favorite wine. He will only charge $10.00 service charge. Make reservations. He's always full.

We stayed at an Airbnb around the corner so this was very convenient. Manolo was quite welcoming; we had tapas including the octopus which is a Must. Sangria is excellent. Great food, attentive service, lots of locals--if you are in search of wonderful Spanish food in San Juan, this is the place!

The grilled octopus and fried pork belly are a must for starters. The prawns and fish are outstanding.

Went for a class reunion at lunch time. There were 25 of us, together and each one paying for it's own ticket. Manolo managed it in an awesome way!! I had octopus at "la brasa". It was delicious and enough for one. Service was very good and very pleasant. They have valet parking. Way to go!!!👌🏽

Hidden on a side street not quite frequented this gem is totally worth venturing to. My husband just picked me up from a business trip & wanted to surprise me with a date night. We were skeptical as we ordered swordfish & snapper. WOW!!!!!! I have never had fish with so much flavor, so tender & flaky. All this great... More

This is a perfect place to dine with family. Do not expect luxury; do expect good food. Valet parking is helpful. Beware with the tips. Sometimes they include taxes to calculate the tip. Do it yourself.
