Smokehouse is a very nice informal spot with great food right in La Placita. Fully recommended for anyone cruising by and hungry!

This was a non fancy, very delicious, local experience. Food was good, service was good and the vibe of the surroundings was just amazing. We enjoyed some live salsa band right outside after dinner and kept ordering drinks from the bar until midnight or so....More

Truly delicious barbecue in the heart of the San Juan culture! The Brisket sandwich is like nothing I have ever had and our server, Chris, was so accommodating to a large group of 11 (of which 5 were kids)!! Fun, loud atmosphere!

Seems very challenging to write a spot that is already #2 on Trip Advisor... but here’s what you need to know: 1. It’s off the beaten path. The neighborhood itself is neat -before you even begin eating. 2. My Texan husband gave the brisket his...More

Looks like an open air small joint adjacent to market. Easily beats all BBQ I’ve had in East coast DC metropolitan area. Highly recommend burnt end brisket app. If you like avacodo, their chicken stuffed giant avacado is fantastic. When you combine that with a...More

We used to before the hurricane but now we dont. We have stuffed avocados we can stuff with vegetables instead of meat. In regards to sides we have a delicious watermelon feta salad or cole slaw.

Southern Style Smoke BBQ with a Caribbean twist. Right in the heart of the historic Santurce neighborhood in plain view of the famous 100 year old Farmer's Market "La Placita". Just minutes away from Old San Juan, Condado and Isla Verde. Come and join us for some great Caribbean - Tennessee BBQ along with some great blues music in a great environment and overall great area to walk around and explore afterwards. We also have a Southern Brunch on Saturday's and Sunday's.
