This restaurant has a typical Criollo menu, is good for business meetings but not for a tourist looking for good tasting food. There are so many rest along the Joyuda area that you better continue down the 102 road .

One of the best restaurant in Western Puerto Rico! Consistent fresh seafood, excellent service (run by father and family), view of the Mayagüez Bay and has parking. They serve fish broth and crostini as appetizers (free). Also good to order out. Try empanadillas de langosta (lobster turnovers) and salmorejo (crab stew), my favorites!

Sit over the ocean on a/c enclosed back porch..your choice of fresh seafood, relatively reasonable prices, for a relaxed pleasurable seafood meal...

Went on a Thursday night before an Indios baseball game. Service was acceptable, ambiance okay...the food was fantastic! Portions are oversized - the bowl of soup my seven year old ordered was bigger than her. I just can't believe how fresh and delicious the seafood was. Octopus was fresh and perfectly cooked - I was fully expecting something rubbery but... More

We went there on a Saturday night after the crowds died down (8pm). Service was fast (a plus with kids). Some things on the menu were good, others were not so great. Here's the good and the bad: Pros: We ordered the kids some chicken tenders with rice and beans. It was very good. The churrasco plate was GREAT. Juicy... More

This is a legendary place. González Seafood has been around since dirt was just sand, and there's a good reason: excellent food, generous portions, lots of free stuff like a plate of bruchetta and cups of a nice seafood chowder. Service can be iffy, as is the case in many restaurants here. So be prepared to spend a little time... More

Great restaurant. The owner is always there, very friendly and eager to please. They always have fresh, local fish. Very crowded during the weekends, so that must mean that there's something good going on! The service is good and, even though it's advertised as a seafood restaurant, I can say that their Porterhouse steak is excellent!

I had cravings for conch & octopus in salad mode (not stewed) with side mofongo... Got more than expected. Even the onion in the salad was good! If you like octopus and conch, dare you to try this one...!!

The restaurant offers a variety of dishes with fresh sea food, i strongly recommend the place. Sometimes you have to wait a little for a table but is worth it.
