The ambience is great (especially the back patio), best coffee on the island and food to back it all up. Only regret in our two trips here was that we didn't get to try their inventive cocktails.

We only had coffees here, but we loved the place - its atmosphere and its staff. We went here on a daily basis just to hang out with our excellent lattes and sat in their garden on one occasion on their tented deck. A must-visit...spot when in Isabella Segundo.More

We thoroughly enjoyed the two meals we had at the recently reopened Rising Roost while in Vieques. We were there the first day they opened under new ownership and liked it so much we came back the next day. We were impressed with the quality...of the food, spacious airy interior, great music and warm welcome, especially given they had just opened! The owners are a charming young Puerto Rican couple who are clearly committed to creating a spot that offers great food in an inviting space where everyone is welcome. Favorites on our visits were the PR & RR Bowls, Breakfast Sandwich, Egg in a Cup, Yogurt, Fresh Juices and Coffees. Since we visited during COVID I should mention that all protocols were followed -temperatures checked, hands sanitized, masks on and tables amply spaced, we felt completely comfortable. The dining room is just lovely featuring traditional Puerto Rican charm and great original artwork by a local artist with big open windows and a beautiful outdoor seating in the back. All in all a great experience, can't wait to visit again when we return to Vieques!More

The bowls are great, went for breakfast there twice. Selv service coffee and they bring you your meal in the back under the sun.

We love Rising Roost for their smoothies, açaí bowls, avocado toast and everything else. The tropical smoothie is delicious and fresh to order, the açaí bowls are all full of fresh fruit, coconut, granola and other toppings. Came here many times and will return.

Loved our breakfast in this homey new spot. We sat outside in the lovely open air seating, and enjoyed the breakfast BLT and the Puerto Rico bowl. Both were delicious. Service was quick and we did a little shopping in the gift shop too!

This is an amazing place! The menu is so great...we had breakfast, and everything from classic eggs, hashbrowns and toast, to rice bowls, BLT sandwiches with loads of Avacados, fruit and yogurt bowls, fresh juices, and a very talented barista who was so fun to...watch make our mochas! The seating is inside or outside... very comfy, lots of clever decor going on! Colorful! Large selection of gifts from local artists... we will return many more times on this trip! Great prices... generous servings!More
