Great atmosphere, owners are very active and business and are always waking around making sure you are taken care of during the meal. Margaritas are fantastic and the desserts are a must!

Great atmosphere, food, drinks, desserts. Upon crossing the threshold you are greeted in a very friendly and personal manor by the hostess. I think the menu was varied and plentiful both for appetizers and entres. I can't recall my wife's choice I had the Pan Fried Churrasco (TOO die for). We had a cheesecake desert that 5 star restaurants in... More

If you want mexican food , thats fine, because is the only option. But if you want just food, there are many other places really better than this one... TIN BOX, BANANAS, CONUCO, DUFFYS, we tried all of those and the only one we did not come back is this one.

Dear Alberto C, First of all, thank you very much for a fantastic review! You are absolutely right....if you want just a food, go somewhere else...because that is not what we offer. We offer flavorful food that may be a bit spicy for some people (but we often times have families with small children dining with us without any issues).... More

This is our favorite restaurant on Vieques. They are only open Monday through Friday so make sure you reserve in advance. If you're looking for elegant atmosphere, don't come here. If you are interested in great Mexican food and unbeatable homemade cheesecake of many varieties for dessert in a fun, hole-in-the-wall storefront, go for it! Jimmy does all the cooking... More

We really enjoyed our dinner here. Great food and drinks. I enjoyed the spicy margarita, which was sort of a cross between a bloody Mary and a margarita. Medium was plenty hot. We ordered a slice of cheesecake to go because we were stuffed. It was excellent too.

Read the good reviews. Ate there. Very pleased. I had carnitas which were perfect. Even just beans and rice were exceptional. Dessert was some kind of espresso pudding which caused a spoon fight because nobody wanted to share Owners were firmly in charge of everything

Definitely a hidden gem, I had read the reviews and this place is definitely not a disappointment. We were seated at the bar area and were served delicious margaritas with top shelf liquor and fresh squeezed lime. We ordered two appetizers one ceviche and one queso fundido con chorrrizo both with homemade chips. For dinner we had one order of... More

We sat at the bar this time as we were only 2 and several large parties were expected. The seared tuna was perfect. My husband asked for it extra rare . It came out perfectly as did my seared steak. Jimmy's polenta was excellent as was the cheesecake. We ate at Coqui Fire twice as the food and the ambience... More
