We're the first couple there. Beautiful place. The moon rise over the bay ( Grand Cul de Sac) was breathtaking. The staff friendly but training was questionable. I asked for the foie gras for my appetizer and was served a form of pate that I did not touch. No amends were offered though with restraint and politeness I did point... More

Dear Marcobatuta I am happy you enjoyed the views at Le Sereno Restaurant. I am sorry you had a few issues on which I would gladly give some feedback based on the information I gathered from my colleagues: I am sorry about the misunderstanding with the foie gras, the waitress who served you said you did indeed ask if the... Went for drinks in the lounge. Although not cheap, good selection of cocktails and wines by the glass. Drinks came with some food, small Italian appetizers that were pretty good. Nice open air setting.

The location is perfect--palms, a view over the water. The food is very good--more Italian than in years past, and well executed. (In fact better than Isola--see separate review.) Not cheap--a bottle of Domaine Ott here will set you back E105 (versus E65 at the Hideaway). To be expected--at a hotel, great location. We enjoyed it. The bad taste came... More

We had lunch at Le Sereno restaurant today, and we had a great experience.. The food is fresh, pasta home made, and a fantastic service during all the lunch long. We ate the restaurant our first night at the hotel. Monday nights are Italian night, and there was live music. We had the chicken and the red snapper, and our food was phenomenal. We saw more people at the restaurant Monday night than we did any other night. We also enjoyed the company of Cookie, the hotel's cat. There were... More

We just came for drinks, but the staff treated us like we were 5 star diners. The view is serene, looking over the beach with moored boats bobbing up and down.

The food, service, and views are amazing. The servers are very attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The wine list and after dinner drinks are excellent. There is not a bad seat in the restaurant. You are chose from having dinner with your feet in the sand or around a comfortable table.

My hubby and I stopped at Le Sereno since Le Toiny was closed for renovations. The girl at the front informed us that we could have lunch but were not allowed to access the pool which was for hotel guests only. We had one of the three wooden tables on the beach with the perfect setting for a leisurely St... More

Description
The restaurant serves a casually elegant Mediterranean Brasserie, taking advantage of the bounty of the Caribbean Sea while incorporating an Italian accent due to the closeness with its sister property in Lake Como and the nationality of the chef and owners. At the helm of Restaurant Le Sereno, Chef Alex Simone will deliver simple and beautifully presented dining experiences. Chef's classic Mediterranean dishes will be elevated with the freshest ingredients and fit perfectly with the restaurant's beachfront setting, including dishes like Steak Tartare and Vitel Toné. The menu will highlight an array of vibrant flavors in dishes like the Poisson en Croute de Sel (fish baked in salt-crust with Lake Como aromatic herbs) and Herb-Crusted Sea Scallops with Saffron. The Italian accent will be seen and tasted throughout the menu, most notably in the restaurant's signature Gnocchi Le Sereno, traditional of Lake Como and made from unprocessed buckwheat flour with a tomato-sage sauce, as sage is the typical aromatic herb of the lake and Chef Simone's famous Lobster Linguine from Il Baretto, here made with fresh local spiny lobster that arrives daily to Le Sereno's private beach.
