The restaurant is already discussed in your forums. I just can't find a listing for it so that I can review it. I don't know the street number (not much on the internet about it), but it is on West Coast Rd, Soufriere, St. Lucia. It was very clean and well decorated. The view of the Pitons and the food were both excellent. It is on the West Coast Rd north of Soufriere.

This local restaurant is so appropriately named. It was one of the best meals we had since visiting Saint Lucia. I can totally see why it's a favorite stop for locals and tour groups. A great place to taste the culture while enjoying spectacular views of the Pitons and Soufriere. It's in an unassuming location that is so easy to miss when driving along the main stretch of West Coast Road on the way back to Castries. It doesn't necessarily look like a restaurant from the roadway. It all comes to light as soon as you walk down the steps to this open & spacious restaurant on the side of a mountain. Just find yourself a table, and enjoy the fresh air and gorgeous view. We were there for lunch. The service was fantastic. Everyone was so welcoming, and they truly care. They made sure to ask if we had any allergies or concerns. The lunch was included in our private tour. It included everything on the buffet, the local juice of the day, as well as ice cream for dessert. The passion fruit juice was absolutely delicious! The best I've ever had. There were so many different local dishes. I ended up getting lentils, vegetable rice, fried plantains, and breadfruit pie. All were great choices. I wanted to try the stewed chicken, but I was still feeling a little nauseous from motion sickness (and altitude). Otherwise, I would have eaten so much more. It was all very tasty. There was road construction all over that part of the city, and all through the mountains. Not the fault of the driver. There were a lot of bumps and potholes. Just keep that in mind if you've never been on winding and curving roads up a mountain. Take the maximum dose of Dramamine if prone to MS. It turned out to be a great stopping point after visiting La Soufriere Drive-In Volcano and the Toraille Waterfall in Sulphur Springs Park. The million dollar view from The Beacon Restaurant was just the cherry on top. It was an amazing day!

The food is out of this world! Flavorful, price is affordable and restaurant overlooks the most breathtaking view of town of Soufriere and Pitons. Was so taken in by the food and location, that I forgot to take a pic of the food! 😂 If you want to taste genuine St Lucian food, the Beacon is a must! Located just outside of town of Soufriere. Owners Hilary and Laura are awesome! Thank you.

We arrived around 1pm and were able to get the table at the best spot for the photos. The only problem is that the waitress didn't care much about the great photo, so we had a post in front of us. The food was very basic, banana in half of the dishes, not much meat. Dessert was an ice cream scoop from the tub, not that great with chocolate sauce on. Not the best variety to try local food. They charge $18 per person, sweet juice is included, and tap water. Only cash accepted, no cards, Grey economy sadly.

The Beacon, in Soufriere South of St Lucia coming on the Est Coast - I was greeted by the quaint restaurant on my way to the Hewonorra International Airport. I was became delighted by the view of the Pitons and the valley below while I enjoy some local fare. It was well prepared and presented. I will definitely return.

View was amazing. Facility was nice. The food that we got to try was good. But they were not in anyway prepared for a lunchtime crowd. This spot is about 25 min from the hot springs so a lot of tourists stop here. There was only 1 cruise ship in today - we were told the day before there were 4 - so you'd have thought they were used to a lunch rush and they weren't. We waited in line for over 30 mins and between running out of plates and various dishes I never got to try everything. And while we were in line we saw the servers taking plates of food out to tables of locals while we stood there. Left us feeling as if our business was neither wanted nor desired and if we could have left at that point without paying we would have.

What a find this was. Lunch is served as a buffet and it is a very sleek, efficient, welcoming operation. For $20 US we got a fruit drink, main course and ice cream. The main consisted of green bananas, pasta salad, green salad, curried chickpea salad, rice, Mac pie, roast potatoes, fried plantain, chicken stew, pork stew and breaded blue marlin. It was all yummy and we were invited to go back for seconds too. The view is superb and everywhere was very clean. Just down the street the owners have Maranatha Gardens, which are free to visit and a joy to behold.

This was my second time at the Beacon restaurant, and it was as wonderful as the first. The atmosphere is very peaceful and calming. There, you can enjoy the sight of the mountains, whilst having a meal worth bragging about. I was torn between enjoying the food and enjoying a spectacular and unique view, which was difficult because the food was made with love. I enjoyed the variety of dishes served on the menu. Everything was so tasty. The team was organized, and attentive to my family and I. We loved the experience and will be returning.

Well priced (EC$50/person) buffet with good local cuisine choices. Nice views from the high top tables. We finished our morning activity early and headed up to eat just before 12 noon. As we finished our meal, several buses were offloading hungry tourists so it became busier and noisier. Early arrival was a defitire bonus.

The Beacon restaurant is amazing! The food is totally delicious. My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon and our private driver Nesmond recommended this place in St. Lucia. They had actually closed for the day, but when our driver gave them a phone call, they stayed open just for us to experience a beautiful private dining experience as newlyweds! We were so grateful to the staff and the owner of the Beacon restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious! The ambience is breathtaking. As you see the pitons as you eat your meal, one of my favorite dishes was the stew chicken and the pasta salad! actually, everything was delicious! Try them today! 💕💕💕💕

A great little spot with spectacular views of the Pitons. The lunch buffet had lots of choices for local cuisine - plantains, lettuce and chick pea salad, jerk chicken, and fish fingers to name a few. The staff member that greeted us was super friendly and accomodating.

We were at Diamond Falls and talking to a tour guide who recommended The Beacon for lunch. It’s not in a location you’d ‘happen upon’! It's a bit of a drive up from Soufreire. The woman who is the host was lovely. She walked us through the buffet so we could see the options before committing. The selection is great, there’s enough to try different things, but not so much that it sits out for long. And there was salad, which I always appreciate at lunch. The food was great! We were expecting to be wowed by the views, which we absolutely were. We expected the food to be fair, but it was wonderful! We particularly loved the fish, the rice, and the pigeon peas. Lunch also comes with a fruit juice and a scoop of ice cream. The juice was great, but I didn’t want to fill up on juice when the food was so good. The views were unbelievable. My son said it was worth the cost of the buffet ($16 US) just for the views. I do agree with other reviewers that the bathrooms were a little lacking, but that would be my only negative. If we are ever back in the area, we would absolutely go back. If you are going to be in the area, definitely go!

Our tour guide bough us here for lunch after walking a trail by the pitons. Perched on the steep mountain road this restaurant is perfectly placed to showcase the views of the pitons and the surrounding valley countryside. You can also see the smoke from the active volcano. The food is buffet style, all very nice local food but it was not kept very hot. They only take cash, $20 pp. Don't side too close to the balcony if it's raining because you'll get very wet! That said, this fantastic view was the best we had on our Caribbean holiday. Well worth a visit.

We stopped here on our way back from the volcano and botanical gardens and enjoyed a lovely traditional Caribbean buffet lunch in a very pink place! Very very tasty and great value at $40 EC per head. The views of the Pitons from this place are absolutely incredible! We would also like to thank Theresa who looked after us so well. It’s a pleasure to see someone who takes great joy in what they do. All in all a must visit if you are travelling back to Castries from a morning spent in Souffriere. Highly recommended for lunch.

Stopped here for lunch as part of the Land & Sean Excursion with Coconut Bay Resort. The local cuisine was excellent and the staff was very helpful accommodating our daughters gluten free needs. The view of the Pitons and St Lucia were just amazing.
