I did not plan on trying this restaurant as I'm not a big fan of Indian cuisine, however, given the options around the area and comparing ratings on tripadvisor, I took a chance and gave this a try. I should mention my husband loves Indian food so he was very pleased I was willing to try it. First off, they... More

Dear Lexington, What a well written thought out review of your experience with us at SOI. You are right, we get so many guest coming in through our doors after reading the reviews and it is even more exciting to see them coming back. Yes I'm an Indian who is truly fussy about eating at other Indian restaurants. However, I was in a mood for a nice spicy Curry and after reading the great reviews on TripAdvisor my partner and I decided to go here. I was gobsmacked by the outstanding food here. I was feeling dubious as this place is on the main... More

I'm a pilot and I used to fly into St. Lucia quite a bit for work. I've flown around the world, and this Indian food is THE BEST I've ever tasted, period. From all of Europe, including Indian food powerhouses like London, to the Americas and Asia, this humble restaurant has not only the most delicious meals, but amazing drinks... More

Adil and the rest of his staff made us feel utterly welcome. The staff was excellent, going out of their way to keep out glasses full and ask our preferences. The food was more like home cooked food rather than the usual oily tasteless stuff that passes for indian cuisine in many restaurants I've in. We're vegetarian but were well... More

For the first time I eat India food I was so surprise to the savor of their food. I spend my money for good food. The best restaurant in the world. I was there about the comments on this site, and I confirmed that. I'll come soon the way again.

Really nice decor but was a little loud being so close to the street. Overall the food was excellent but a little pricey. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we had and the staff were great. The owner also came to check on us which is always nice.

Great selection and incredible flavor! Lots of choices of different restaurants in Rodney Bay and we ate here 3 times during the week we stayed in St. Lucia! My husband and I tried something different each time we went. The meals just kept getting better and better! My favorite was the coconut curry prawn and the garlic naan. The staff... More

This is (at time of writing) the top rated Rodney Bay restaurant. The food was well cooked, nice and hot and served well. Just did not make our top restaurant as we had better meals in Rodney Bay.
