Don't forget to get a reservation. It is a very small place with limited staff. Martha's Tables was the perfect way to end our trip to St Lucia. She was super kind and her food the the best we had our entire trip. Don't go here for white table cloth service or a big menu to choose from. She makes it all right there in her kitchen so the menu is limited. I would much rather eat at a place with a smaller menu that was executed perfectly and that is exactly what this is. Martha is friendly and kind. We got lucky and were able to get served without a reservation. We then watched another small group get sent away because Martha was the only person working and she wouldn't sacrifice service or quality. After some horrible food we had at very expensive places (Ladera) it was great to finish on such a high note with such great people and food.

Following a winding up and down and around hilly road trip, the splendor of the two Piton mountains came into view, along with the turquoise Caribbean sea to the right. We stopped into a magnificent colourful little restaurant with the quaint name of "Martha's Tables" and met the warm and charming St. Lucian owner who welcomed us enthusiastically and told us tales of having spent time in Montreal, Canada, where we're from and that she enjoyed Montreal but was happy to be back in the warmth of her home island. The food was cooked in a BBQ on a large balcony with a clear view of the Pitons. The food was genuinely home cooked and was just wonderful. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a charming, one of a kind restaurant in the hills of St. Lucia. If you venture to the Pitons in St. Lucia, you must stop in to Martha's Tables. It's the real McCoy.

Fantastic food, absolutely delicious! A true gem. We were served by the daughter (sadly I did not get her name) who told us it was her mum who does the cooking. She was a fabulous host and we loved the home cooked vibe of the meal. I will recommend this place to anyone visiting gorgeous St Lucia.

We had a really lovely lunch during our stay at Sugar Beach, and really glad that we listened to all the brilliant reviews. All our food was fresh and tasty, and very reasonably priced alongside great service. Throughout our week we ate at lots of different restaurants in St Lucia and in terms of St Lucian food this was my favourite.
It may not have the views of Dasheene or the Great Room at Sugar Beach, but the service is lovely, and the food is great value for money.

We were greeted and seated on the outdoor patio by Martha’s lovely daughter.
If only we had discovered this place before the end of the holiday we would have returned several times.
It’s the best creole home cooking and by far the best and most authentic meal we’ve had during our stay.
The fish with spicy creole sauce was excellent ( you can have non spicy). It was served with a great selection of perfectly cooked vegetables, fried plantain, a very tasty Mac and cheese and potato salad.
Why the drivers and tours don’t come here rather than the Beacon nearby which has tasteless buffet food I have no idea.
Wish we had a chance to return and savour other dishes from the menu.

The best local food we had in St. Lucia. The way the fish and vegetables were made was delicious. The service was warm and friendly. Since we had made a reservation, they even kept the restaurant open after closing hours until we got to Martha's because we were running late. The restaurant setting and surroundings are peaceful and relaxing. From the refreshing freshly made local juices and the great food to the inviting and warm atmosphere, Martha’s was our best dining experience in St. Lucia.

Martha’s Tables is a no-nonsense St Lucian restaurant, only open at lunchtimes. It’s situated on one of the steep, windy roads that are the usual around this part of the island, and as noted by others parking might be a problem if you are driving as we were. But today when we arrived we were the first people there. The restaurant is a shaded area that feels a bit like an extension to the owners home - there are limited tables but their website suggests that walk ups for parties of 4 or less are fine.
The menu is short and features home style cooking. There was no explicit vegetarian option, but I am absolutely certain that vegetarians would be accommodated with no fuss. As an occasional pescatarian I had the mahi mahi, Dining Companion had the chicken in Martha’s special sauce. Mains come with the traditional range of (veggie) sides, ground provisions, rice, potato salad, macaroni cheese etc. Portions were generous and more importantly all the food was absolutely delicious.
Service was extremely friendly and relaxed, and at around 80 EC$ the bill for two was exceptional value. What a brilliant local restaurant this is. There is surely no better place to get decent local home cooked St Lucian food.

We came up from malgretoute beach & had some tasty food in this lovely setting with lisa giving us great service. They were generous portions at a very reasonable price. I had the pork chop,Julie the fish both tasty & served with local vegetables. Would definitely recommend.

We visited Martha’s Tables as it was close to our hotel and came with great recommendations. We were not disappointed. The ambience is almost as though you were having dinner at someone’s home. The general feeling was the same - we felt like guests in the home of a gracious host.
The food had a very homemade taste - dishes made with love and caring. The fish and pork chop and the accompanying vegetables were really delicious and the servings were large. It was difficult to finish it all but too flavorful not to do so.
It’s a little hard to find but worth the search. Skip your hotel/resort lunch and come to Martha’s tables!

After soaking in the Diamond Springs Mineral Pools we made our way to Martha's Table for lunch. The food was amazing! We had grilled fish, mac and cheese, plantains, beans and Shandy to drink.

Had a fantastic lunch here (only open for lunch) after finding it on Google maps close to our hotel, Stonefield Villas. It’s an easy 10 mins walk down a steep hill. The food was fantastic, we absolutely loved everything we tried, and we had some rum cocktails that blew our socks off. I’m still not sure I’ve sobered up 2 weeks later. Super nice staff as well

I vacationed in Soufrière, St. Lucia on the southwestern part of the island and saw the stellar ratings of this local restaurant. Although I enjoyed the pricey culinary delights at the numerous luxury hotels surrounding this area, occasionally I crave an authentic meal at 1/3 the price. From Creole Shrimp to BBQ chicken, the meals are authentic, tasty and plentiful. The service was very friendly and attentive. Not the fanciest place, but absolutely worth a visit.

My husband and I went to some of the nicest restaurants during our stay in St. Lucia but we found the best food hands down was from the local restaurants. Marthas Tables was my husbands favorite spot we ate and definitely top 3 for me. The food was absolutely amazing, I had the creole mahi mahi... to die for!
This is a great local spot, do yourself a favor and go here on your trip! The food was so amazing and the staff was very friendly.

The restaurant is located up a steep hill on a road out of Soufriere. We ordered tuna and chicken. Meals were really good, not just the meat and fish which were ‘melt in the mouth’ tender but also all the side dishes that came with it including the rice and fresh vegetables. Polite and friendly service too, so overall this was excellent and one of the best meals of our four island trip.
