This place was a little hard to find, but worth the extra effort! The view of the pitons was beautiful, even on an overcast day. They bring you bread and dipping sauces. Very different dining experience with chocolate featuring in most dishes. Quite expensive but delicious food, welcoming staff and good enough to warrant a 2nd visit which was just as enjoyable.

We are currently staying 14 nights at the Boucan. All meals and especially breakfast is amazing and the chefs cater for any special dietary requests. All ingredients are of the highest quality and are lovingly prepared. Staying in a Luxe lodge which is really great, number 7 which is directly in front of the Piton, and also has the bonus... More

First time i have been here, we went for a day trip to south of the island, stopped by Boucan for a meal, to be honest it was a little expensive and it plays on the whole hotel chocolate, the dessert was lovely but the burgers very average and we found the staff more interested in chatting than working.

Fresh ingredients, local style, friendly service and reasonable prices make the London restaurant run by Hotel Chocolat seem like a pale copy. The cocktails here are far superior too!

Stayed in the hotel for 3-days so experienced the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast was really nice but lunch and dinner were standout and very happy having the restaurant on our doorstep. Beef-filled Yorkshire pudding starter, curried chicken and tuna mains are recommended

After reading up about this restaurant and knowing the Hotel Chocolat brand I was personally a little disappointed from the overall experience for the price and this was perhaps due to my choice of main course. Went for lunch. Amazing views towards the Pitons. Tasty food in a lovely peaceful setting. Service was friendly and professional. Had the lava cake - excellent

We spent the day on the Hotel Chocolat tour (which was incredible), followed by a delicious dinner at night. The food was amazing, with the ubiquitous cocoa flavour cunningly incorporated. The staff were friendly and the service excellent. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat, and we hope to return one day.

A bit of sticker shock at $14 but you are worth it be prepared to wait for this dish as I think it's made by hand a good 20-30 minutes nice view while you wait though...

Our molten lava cake is made direct from cocoa bean in our kitchen and each order is freshly baked hence the little delay which is mentioned on the menu. More

Perched high up between the Piton mountains, The Boucan Restaraunt is open to both residents and non residents. Boucan is The Hotel Chocolat’s own restaurant, where guests can experience Cacao Cuisine. The word “Boucan” refers to the traditional West Indian name for a cocoa drying facility. The restaurant is built on the site of the Rabot Estate’s original Boucan. Boucan is also linked to “boucaneer” or “buccaneer,” the local pirates that would smoke and dry their food to preserve it for long trips at sea. The Boucan offers a strong connection with cacao and chocolate. For over 3,000 years, cacao has been used as a savory ingredient and for 500 as a sweet ingredient. The menu explores both, with the chefs taking their inspiration from the fresh cacao growing all around the estate, together with amazing local fish and seafood, salad leaves, vegetables and plentiful fruit. However the cuisine is far from cocoa heavy. The menu often makes use of cacao as a light, subtle spice or as an infusion. The desserts make full and imaginative use of the estate cacao, with each evening meal rounded off with the day’s new chocolate creation. Boucan’s breathtaking minimalist design includes a soaring roof inspired by the shape of the cacao tree, with its branches reaching to the sky, and shaded by the lush rainforest canopy. Its high platform is a centre stage for the Big Nature views all around.Dining at the Hotel Chocolat's Boucan Restaurant, whether it be breakfast, lunch, dinner or the fabulous sundowner cocktails, is an experience to be shared and cherished.We passionately believe we are certainly offering something very different at Boucan.
