My wife and I stayed at Belair Hotel the week after Thanksgiving. We ate dinner at Gingerbread Cafe on the property the first night as we were a bit tired after a day of traveling to get to the island. Dinner was okay, a decent fish entree that was a bit overcooked, rice was disappointing, and an underpoured small glass... More

The place is very unassuming, but the food was excellent. The establishment was clean, the servings were large, and the food arrived hot. Our server, Bradley, was pleasant, funny, and attentive. Highly recommend the shrimp scampi, ribs and chicken, Caesar salad with grilled shrimp and the swordfish special.

My 2nd review of the Gingerbread Cafe. Once again, it's the Cafe that's associated with the Belair Beach hotel. Anyone can go there, open to the public 7 days a week. Not quite sure why I haven't reviewed this fantastic place more often...seeing as I never eat there less than 3 times each time I visit the island for a... More

Terrible for vegans, and average for non vegans. The salad was not edible - thawed cucumbers, cardboard lettuce, rancid oil. We felt like we were burdensome to the waitstaff.

Don't underestimate --- or overestimate this small restaurant on the beach. We only ate dinner here and came 2 times - once for dinner our first night on the island and again for all you can eat BBQ. My red snapper dish was fantastic, probably the best fish I had on the island. My friends did not like their hamburgers... More

People we met suggested this place to us. It is on the beach and was a sort walk from out unit. Friendly bartenders (we when three times). Food was very good -- recommend the seafood scampi -- and plentiful. Very relaxing atmosphere.

We walked here from the Divi Little Bay, the Belair Beach Club Hotel is the next hotel over. You can walk over via the beach. The food was very good, the beers cold and the service wonderful. Would most certainly go back the next time we're there.

I enjoyed going to the Gingerbread Cafe because it is like having dinner right on the beach. The atmosphere is very relaxed, no need to over dress. It's a small place and can get a little steamy in there but, the food was excellent.

The Gingerbread Cafe makes some of the best Guavaberry Coladas on SXM and their 2 for 1 happy hour can't be beat. When in P'burg between 3-6, I highly recommend stopping by the Gingerbread Cafe at the Bel Air and enjoying some of their Guavaberry Coladas. 🍹 An added bonus is the view, which is truly had to beat.
