There was supposed to be a reservation for a table of 12 made through concierge at our resort, but there was no record when we showed up. The woman who sat and served us was the owner and she was absolutely wonderful! They had a special "Gnocchi with black truffle cream sauce", and I have never tasted any pasta dish... More

Visited in the evening and had a truly "pasto autentico". Food was amazing as was the service, ambiance and wine. Had the special appetizer and recommended fish main course. Ottima qualità! The wine was great as was the steaming hot espresso!

A really nice family owned and run restaurant. Very unassuming from the road but a very nice space with a full view of the open kitchen with a nice view of Simpson Bay. We went very casual for dinner and felt perfectly comfortable. We were served by the chef/owner's daughter who was very personable and the service was great. She... More

We did not have a good experience at this restaurant. The wait staff was not pleasant, seemed like we were a bother to her. We walked into an empty restaurant and she asked if we had a reservation (we did not). Then was very put out to have to get a table set up for us. We were a party... More

We had a hankering for pizza in Paradise and had heard good things about Cugini, so we gave it a try. I certainly didn't expect the upscale eatery or the awesome views of the lagoon! Cleverly decorated in a decidedly Godfather-esque fashion, with a giant video screen showing classic clips of old b&w movies, the room was pleasantly inviting. The... More

We had pizza, truffle gnocchi, white fish with capers and olive, and pasta Alfredo (not on the menu but they made it anyway for my father-in-law). Everything was outstanding. The staff is personable and friendly. And for the quality it was not that pricey.

Two words: truffled gnocchis!!! I can die now ;) Went with family and had an amazing time at Cugini. Family-run business with Tony in the kitchen. You can't go wrong! A truly great experience. Kids had carbonara and we both had the gnocchis with real truffles (not the smelly oil), delicate and not overbearing yet very tasty. A good bottle... More

The new version of CUGINI TRATTORIA ITALIANA must be what all restaurant owners dream about: open the gates without any further announcement, and within hours all tables are busy! Such was the success of CUGINI's that even during the early weeks - commonly referred to as a 'soft opening'- reservations were a necessity. Cuigini Trattoria Italiana has been a fixture of the island's restaurant scene for many years. The original Italian cuisine - always prepared a la minute! - has attracted a loyal following amongst repeat visitors and island residents. The original CUGINI was a landmark in Marigot's Marina Royale. Outgrowing the facilities, a brand new CUGINI has been transplanted to the island's Dutch side and the ever-growing Simpson Bay region. The new incarnation of CUGINI TRATTORIA ITALIANA has been a huge success from the moment Toni Piccione opened the gates. The location is fantastic: right on the shores of the Lagoon and along Simpson Bay's Golden Mile, CUGINI is easily accessible from all major resorts. There is reserved parking for guests, eliminating the search for a secure parking spot - one of the common head aches in this area. And there is also dockage for yacht tenders. So, dear yacht owners and captains: feel free to send your guests and crew to CUGINI. And for truly romantic souls: an original Venecian Gondola is waiting at the docks behind the Ristorante to take you through the nightly magic of Simpson Bay Lagoon, serving Prosecco and (if desired) CUGINI's food, to the tunes of Italian opera.
