I love this place. What else can you say when you show up at 7PM and ask if they are still open and the owner takes you into the kitchen to show you what you could have. We settled on the fish pie and the lasagne. Once agreed, we sat down to enjoy a beer and unwind. My son offered... More

What looks like a nothing place is really a diamond in the rough. This restaurant is family run by Jean-Baptiste and his wife. Even his sweet daughter Alise gets in on the action bringing drinks to patrons sitting at the tables. Everything is homemade on the premises with the freshest of ingredients. There are a variety of panini, chicken Cordon... More

Understated casual quaint off waterside cafe. YES the chocolate mousse will melt in your mouth! WiFi great! Staff English /french. Shady & cool for the hot days. Good local/semi tourist vibe.

During a recent cruise port visit to Saint Martin we drove to Marigot - and on a whim we decided to eat at Le Sous-Marin and got to meet Jean-Baptiste and his family. We enjoyed the casual bistro style restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the homemade food we ate: Feta cheese Quiche (hot just out of the oven), Veal Banquette (so... More

Stopped in for lunch. Had the cheese and chicken pinini's and French fries. Fresh made bread. Food delicious. Family owned. Husband and wife very friendly. Would definitely recommend and would visit again.

We came here based solely on Trip Advisor reviews. The reviews raved about the friendly service, lasagna and such. We did not have the same experience. In their defense maybe it was due to our arrival time, approximately 4pm. It took quite a bit to even be acknowledged. No menu, which was fine. The owner (the wife) offered quiche, panni... More

Stopped to look at the menu and the owner wanted to tell me how everthing on the menu was made, to the point where we felt obligated to eat there. We ordered a slice of Quiche with a salad each, it took some time to be served and one plate arrived with a slice of quiche surrounded by shredded lettuce... More

I wish we could have eaten here more often - especially dinner, but staying in Oyster Pond the drive in the dark was just too long! The host and hostess are fabulous and extremely genuine. It is obvious that they love what they do and that they love feeding people good food. The leek and goat cheese quiche was amazing... More

Tried to go for dinner a bit late in low season and came as they were closing up. Jean-Baptiste was the charming host that everyone describes and offered us a gift as well as an invitation to return for dinner and let them know when and they would stay open. We returned for lunch the next day and got a... More

If I lived in Marigot, I would eat here ALL the time. It only takes one meal for you to experience Jean-Baptise's and Paula's passion for what they do. Seeing the variety of fresh bread ready for baking, being shown the giant quiche du jour, hearing of the grandmother's recipes, and seeing the attention and care taken with each customer... More
