Beautiful view right on the beach. Great drinks, great food and a friendly staff, all of whom spoke pretty good English.

My wife and I rented a condo down the beach from Captain Frenchy's place. On our first day in Grand Case we walked along the beach looking for chairs and umbrella to rent. We came across Captain Frenchy and found out that you can use the chairs and umbrellas on the beach in front of it as long as you... More

Good service and good food. I had the mahi mahi and it was quite tasty. They cooked it right, and it wasn't cooked too long so it become hard as with another restaurant I visited later. They served bread first. Unfortunately as with all French side restaurants, they allow smoking, and the French guests light up non stop. Very annoying.... More

We stopped by Captain Frenchy for a drink during a stroll down Grand Case beach. It's quieter, smaller and more chill than Rainbow. The bar tender was less engaged than rainbow (may have been a slight language barrier) and the place felt like a local hangout for staff from the various restaurants/hotels in the area. However, the drinks were the... More

Right next to Rainbow Beach Club, Frenchie's is a great alternative if for no other reason than you want to try something new. Smaller and a bit more intimate and casual (if you can even say that given the beach club atmosphere) the food is very good and the staff warm and gracious.

Very cool laid back beach bar and restaurant. Staff are the nicest people you will meet. Food and drinks are excellent. Will be back.

We ate at Captain Frenchy's twice for lunch. The shrimp tempura, mussels, salads, smoothies, and rose were delicious!!! The service was fabulous and friendly.

Our first visit after many recommendations and we are not disappointed. The food and service were spot on and the beach service was an added treat. Menu has a little something for everyone and all was fresh. Open air with attentive hostess.

We had a great time at Captain Frenchy's. Our morning was lazily spent on the beach on the sunbeds available just in front of the restaurant. They're for free for the bar/restaurant customers. We then had our lunch on the patio, and it was lovely. Fish is, of course, the true star, but also the meats offer a tasty alternative.... More
