One of the places I frequented in Road Town because of its convenient location and lovely setting on the waterfront. The service and food are not particularly great but at least it is consistent. Have been to a lot worse but I do expect better.

We've eaten at Dockside a couple times and although by American standards the service is pretty laid back but we're not in the US and my experience is that we're the only ones fanatical that good service should be speedy. The food we found to quite good. I had the chicken roti and my wife had the honey stung chicken.... More

Went for lunch. The view is lovely. Sat at our table waited 15 mins for a server to approach us. Ordered drinks. When drinks arrived we ordered food as we knew there was a risk of having a long wait again. The food took for ever to arrive. Was not worth the wait. We will not be back.

Our first night in Tortola, we strolled around Road Town and walked towards the lights in the marina. In the Village Cay Hotel, we followed the music and the aromas. Sat by the railing to have a meal and see the sunset behind the sea going vessels. We passed on the lobster buffet and selected our entrees from the menu.... More

A day in Road Town getting provisions and supplies for the boat with friends led us to the Dockside at Village Cay Marina. Very nice view, overlooking what we now call "Marina TV", the comings and goings of yachts of all shapes and sizes. Unfortunately, it was downhill from there. Friends had the stir fry, and that was the best... More

We took our dinghy to the restaurant... I wasn't expecting much but my husband had eaten there before and he really liked it. It was great. Fresh, fresh seafood in my jambalaya... great seasoning... delish. They have a fish house with someone cutting up the fish... then next to it is the main grilling station with chef and cooks... all... More

After wandering aimlessly looking for a place to eat, we stumbled upon Village Cay and at first were thrilled because it is an open air restaurant overlooking the docks so it was fun to watch the boats come and go. We were there for Sunday which gave us a choice of the buffet which was $25 each -- no way!... More

Just had lunch here and although the setting is very pleasant, on the water right next to the marina, we were very disappointed at the service. The restaurant was quiet, only about 15 customers, the server was polite and took our order immediately, a ceasar salad and a burger. I noticed atleast 2 cooks in the kitchen but after 45... More
