This restaurant has a really pretty location and the food was fair but not as good as they think it is. The building is also pretty and the renovation has been a success. The service was friendly and pretty efficient. They were very helpful setting up a couple of sunbeds for us after lunch, We will probably return here the... More

Dined here for a very late lunch 15:00 hrs. FYI: Not much difference between the lunch and dinner menu. Enjoyed the beet salad for our starter (red beets, capers, goat cheese) - which was to die for! One meal of Fish Roti and one meal of Open Face Fish Steak Focaccia accompanied by the best cooked plantains ever! The King... More

I always enjoy spending the day here and enjoying lunch with good friends. A highlight of my annual visit to Bequia.

Start by having a special cocktail or a ice-cold Hairoun in a light, airy space with driftwood chandeliers, comfy eclectic furniture and louvred doors overlooking a fabulous beach. We ate a perfect lunch, and then spent hours lounging and swimming on the picturesque Crescent Beach.Did I mention that they have friendly totally accommodating staff?

Over the years that we have been eating here the menu seems to have been reduced to the two signature dishes, fish roti and lobster roti, which are both excellent, and two or three more standard dishes such as jerked chicken which are not so exciting. The food would still merit four stars but the once friendly service has now... More

We ate multiple breakfasts, lunches, and dinners here and looked forward to each one. Wall facing the water is generally open allowing you to watch the water as you eat your leisurely meal. Breakfast: local fruits, juice, yogurt with site made granola, site made bread and frittata. Chose fish or lobster entrees for most meals, but did also enjoy the... More

We ate here on our first and last night while vacationing in Bequia. We had a great experience the first time, hence the reason for our return. The food is spectacular and the atmosphere can't be beat. When the doors are open it feels as if you are eating right on the beach. The owner, Emmet, is extremely nice and... More

Sugar Reef is now one of the "in" places to dine on Bequia and it's come a long way since it was the Industry Beach Bar. I have to admit I miss the more relaxed days from years ago when one could take a book and have a light snack in a remote, quiet part of Bequia. The interior decor is... More

This restaurant is definitely not as good as the hype around it. I usually prefer limited menus but the menu here is just not as authentic for Caribbean food as some/most other restaurants. The staff were pleasant though not exceptional and a bit too nosy. My husband was quite happy with his fish focaccia, while I was left wanting a... More
