Thanks Arisella for your amazing service at Kaizan Sushi. You helped make our dining experience an amazing one. Arisella helped us with our selection and everything suggested was very tasty and fresh. There were quite a selection on the menu and her help was appreciated. We dined at Kaizan on December 26th and appreciated that they were open when most... More

My wife a I eat at Kaizan nearly every Friday night after work (date night). Sushi is really good and some of the starters (especially the seared tuna tataki) are excellent. I haven't found better sushi in any restaurant in the Americas or Europe. Its not a romantic or particularly elegant restaurant though - it's the food and good service... More

Kaizan was the first really good sushi I ever had in trinidad. I stopped going for a while when I was pregnant with my first child. More recently I started going there again and on my first few trips the food was pretty good. I went there with my husband around summer 2016 and the rice in all the sushi... More

We visited the Price Plaza, Chaguanas Branch. The service was wonderful and unparalleled, out server Tiffany P, was patient (as we were newish to the sushi thing) and explained everything that we asked with a smile, she also made some wonderful suggestions for drinks, sushi rolls and desserts. The rolls were really enjoyable The decor and ambiance were also great and... More

I had a craving. I needed raw fish. Kaizan, looked good. I found the service to be acceptable, neither poor or extraordinary. I have Sake nagiri and two specialty rolls along with two beers. Total bill was almost $45 USD, and while I enjoy Sushi and don't mind paying well for good Sushi, this wasn't it. It gets you by,... More

Kaizan adds its own fusion to sushi, with caribbean flavors, which really is not true sushi, but it taste so good. However they take really long to bring your food, I've experienced this at both the chaguanas and pos location. Sushi for two shouldn't take 45mins.

Long story short, if you're a strict vegetarian: stay away. Not only did we get a piece of meat in our tofu dish, they also tried to make excuses and claim that it was tofu when we sent the offending morsel to the chef for review. This was particularly unfortunate as we had, as we always do, specifically explained to... More

If you are unsure about trying sushi, try it anyways... Kaizan is the best place to try it. The staff are accommodating and the ambiance is great! Lovely presentation with the food.
