Good Indian food with decent portions. Did not have a wide selection butvenjoyed what I did have. Restaurant was quiet and service was fast
I've had peshwari naan from some of the highest rated Indian restaurants from across the globe and Rassam's peshwari is #1. I'm not sure if they've edited their recipes for a trini palette but it's amazing.
Whenever I visit this establishment the quality of the food has always been great. I would recommend the Naan Basket for those who love naan and are adventurous as it really is a wide variety of naan. The vegetarian choices to go with the naan...are all great as I have tried most of them. The tamarind pepper and amchar/anchar were a really good compliment to the meal. Also, for a drink I would recommend a Barbadine Dazzler, it is one of the best drinks I have ever had in my life. The only downside on this visit was that the complementary soup which is usually given before the meal was not available. The server was very patient and friendly and the ambience always helps to make the dining experience a pleasure when visiting this establishment.More
This place is beautifully decorated, never expected to see this interior in the middle o a shopping mall. Prawns in khurma sauce were absolutely delicious and so was also hayderabad pilaw. The staff was also very knowledgeable and helpul. Do note expect traditional chutneys: as...a homage to the Caribbean tradition, the pride is an extremely hot pepper sauceMore
Our major gripe with this restaurant was that it is advertised as “Indian Hakka Thai” and what really drew us in was the Thai and to a lesser degree the Indian. However, on sitting we were given one menu that didn’t list a single Thai...item. I then asked about it and was given the “Thai” menu. And I use “” because I really cannot wholeheartedly say this was really Thai food as someone who is in love with it & have eaten many authentic Thai cuisines all over the world, this was such a huge disappointment. When I did see something of interest to order, pad Thai- the server came back to the table to say they were out. I chose another noodle option they say are made with Thai spices (meh). Another slight inconvenience experienced was that English was not spoken well by our server so she really had a challenging time understanding tweaks to our order as well as the questions being asked about the menu and because of this misunderstanding, a wrong order was placed (only saw the item was wrong when we got the bill) AND we ordered an entire additional entree because she told me that the meat dish did not come with any sides but when it did arrive to our table, it was accompanied by a good serving of white basmati rice. It turned out to be way too much food. She did seem very pleasant and willing but the language barrier made it a bit difficult. The Indian part of the order (pictured, think it’s called Murgh tikka Marsala) was absolutely delicious!! Couldn’t get enough. Husband ordered from the “Thai” section; honey chili chicken, house special Hakka noodles with chicken. It was okay. Nothing wowza. The chicken was quite spicy & the noodles tasted like it could be regular noodles made at home stir fried with some veges & boneless chicken pieces - disappointing. The chicken samosas were also decent but in our opinion, not worth the 3 for $55 since we have tasted the same quality or a tad better for 3 for $20/$25. Overall, our experience was decent and the Indian dish saved the day. I would visit again but will stick with the Indian menuMore
The food is tasty. The menu can be flexible if you want to mix and match means. Friendly and helpful waiter/waitress.
Authentic Indian food in an similar setting. Service was excellent and waiter was very knowledgeable about all the dishes which had Indian names. Specially requested low spice content and our meal was prepared accordingly. Delicious indeed !!! Chai tea made inhouse was quite tasty. Our...party comprised 2 persons but the portions could have easily fed 4. My one complaint is that the seats in the private cubicles are not suitable for short persons at all and were quite uncomfortable.More
Tasty! We really liked the Indian dishes. Curry and welcome soup were all good. Plus, th staff were very polite and speaks local.
It’s my second time I visit this restaurant and the curry spice they prepared is the best I ever taste. You must try the lamb and the chicken! The rice with the perfect texture of India cuisine! Not luxury but the food is amazing!
