We had a great evening here and really enjoyed our interactions with the owner/head chef who was very welcoming and chatty. The wine is really expensive! We went for one of the cheaper bottles and it was delicious. I would advise if you don't know what you want to talk it through with the staff. We were given a complimentary... More

Given all the hype about this place we decided to try it out and were slightly disappointed. The food wasn't bad but not up to expectation. We both had pasta as our main dish - and both were a bit lacking in flavour. The seafood pasta was bland with no real *seafood* taste and the lamb with penne was simply... More

On our third trip to Tobago and been to La Tartaruga each time. The food is remarkable absolutely fantastic - words can not describe it! The wine list is amazing as well. Overall this is not a cheap night out but is such good value for money as the service and overall experience is well worth it.

The food here is wonderful, and the ambiance and staff are beyond charming. We were on Tobago for eight days, and we are here twice -- the first time because another couple at our hotel recommended it, and the second time because we loved it so much the first time. This is probably as authentic as Italian food can be... More

We ate the appitizer sampler, pumpkin soup, which was bland for my taste, and the Mahi Mahi, delicious yet a little too highly spiced, again this is a personal view point. Others may find the seasoning just right. The food and service were very good, the wine list excellent. We had an enjoyable evening.

When I was there, I ordered Ravioli. I received 3 very small ravioli on my plate; then went home and made myself a cheese sandwich because I was still hungry. Very expensive!

This was a great little Italian restaurant in Buccoo. The staff was great and the prices were fair. We had a great time and enjoyed everything we ordered. They are not open on Sundays because of Sunday School. Look them up online, check out the menu, then go.

Authentic Italian cuisine. Great service and atmosphere. Shrimp Alfredo was to die for. Better food than many more expensive restaurants in Tobago and certainly better than most Italian restaurants in the UK. Best Italian dining experience I've had outside of Tuscany.

We are big travellers to Italy so very interested to see if this was a 'real' Italian restaurant. We got chatting to the charming staff and they were from Venice & Milan so knew food would be authentic. It was sensational - the mixed starter was out of this world and the fresh pasta main was to die for. Not... More
