Took over a hour to come, didn't think anything of the wait because it was busy but people were getting their food much quicker than us even though we were there before them? No apology for the delay and the attitude on staff pleasant.

Hi, Firstly I would like to apologise for the service that you received whilst visiting the pub. I would like to investigate the matter further, would you be able to contact me at the pub on 01685385786, and ask for Beccy. Thanks

Within some thirty miles of Merthyr there are four Wetherspoon pubs. And this is by far the worst. Granted we were there on a Friday evening, but it was chaos. Even that early, 5.30, surfaces were sticky, the noise was deafening, and in several instances...More

Lunch time with work colleagues. It was fully seating, lucky to get a table. Decent pub, queued at bar though. Slow food delivery, half an hour. It was ok but the ham was not 'the usual' served, not as good quality but it was cheap,...More

Food not bad for a quick stop for a bite to eat. Staff leave the place down over all, attitude and just overall customer service is absolutely disgusting.

Pretty standard Spoons food but the service was speedy. Unfortunately the place is popular with families with noisy children. We ate quickly and left.

This spoons is definitely one to avoid. A bit run down really. Could do with a face lift and music like a Lloyd's bar. Bar staff very slow. Boxing night only 4 serving. Really not good

Go here very regularly. Food is cheap and decent, food served really quickly, never have a single complaint, staff are lovely, they have a fun quiz night, large variety of drinks to choose from, clean. What more could you want from a pub really.

Happened to visit on 'Steak Day'. Brilliant usual fayre at VFM cost. Very good meals with drinks for 2 of us for only £22.50 - cannot be faulted. Will visit again.
