My wife and 5 of our kids visited Scoops during our visit to St John for an after snorkeling treat. The ice cream was very good. I enjoyed the coconut. My wife liked salted caramel. The kids all enjoyed their choices and seeing "Jack" the local cat who graced with a visit.

This is my three sons (and my husband's!) favorite stop to make in Cruz Bay - it's a really fun way for us to finish off our day. They haven't tried an ice cream flavor there that they didn't like and they rotate flavors every few days so there were new options to choose from. The smoothies can be made... More

Scoops is the perfect stop after a day at the beach. Both flavors we had were great, and I'm sad we didn't get to stop there more than once.

We were disappointed by the quality of ice cream and policy of not giving tastes before purchase. Ice cream was rather gritty in texture and also lacking in flavor. Waffle cones are made in house but from a mix (not homemade). Seems expensive for what it is. Still, the location is very convenient with ample parking and seating area outside... More

Just needed some great ice cream! Scoops delivered then we discovered they freshly made their own cones! So delicious and a great variety to choose from. We will definitely go back next trip. Very conveniently located in Mongoose Junction!

I'm an ice cream snob--it's hit and miss and Scoops. The coconut and chocolate banana are both so good you will eat them every day--We did! But normal flavors like strawberry, etc are disappointing. Step outside the box on flavors and you will be a lot more satisfied.

We make a point to try homemade ice cream whenever it's around, so we were excited to give Scoops a try. Maybe we've been spoiled with great ice cream...? Seriously, save your money and head to the freezer at one of the little convenience stores on the island for something, anything else. It will be better. The ice cream here... More

Normally do not stop for ice cream due to all the over indulging while at St. John but I did and will go back again. Really good ice cream and friendly service. We were a group of 5 and everyone had to purchase ice cream after they noticed me eating it.

Although the scoops were not huge, the ice cream was fresh and delicious. The coconut was the best I have ever had. Chocolate chip, caramel, and chocolate (not dark) and the waffle cones were big hits. We were there late in the day and they had run out of painkiller ice cream which disappointed one in our group. It's not... More

St. John Scoops is the island's one and only place for homemade ices and creams. We make everything in-house and fresh every day! This means that our flavors are constantly changing, so what you see on the menu one day can be completely different the next day! We offer local fruit flavors like passion fruit, mango, and guava, along with old-time staples like strawberry and vanilla. We mix it up a bit by throwing in some local honey and lavender, or some St. John Brewer's Root Beer (yes, as an ice cream)! Don't worry, we also make some amazing chocolate, cookies & cream, and pistachio among the many other flavors on the rotation. Did we mention that we have something for just the big kids, too? That's right, rum raisin with real rum, painkiller ice cream, champagne sorbet, and the list does go on! When you walk by, you're sure to smell those fresh waffle cones being made...Nothing like a fresh scoop on a fresh cone, that's for sure! We are excited to offer vegan, superfood smoothies made with whole fresh frozen fruits (NO ICE) and an array of amazingly healthy additions to keep minds and bodies happy! Add some hemp or plant protein to make it a complete meal, and you won't feel so bad about all the bars you hit the night before. Virgin Island Coffee Roasters' Fair Trade Organic Sumatran Blend is served hot all day long for those in need of that caffeine buzz. We have lots of options for dairy-free and gluten-free guests, including sorbets and our yummy Slush Puppies.
