Rashaad had gave great service. He was very friendly and the drinks were exceptional. He also recommended great meals to try which shows he knows the menu and what his customers like from simple conversation. He needs a raise !!!!

Our friends and I were trying to find a nice authentic restaurant for dinner that served steak and seafood outside of Baha Mar where we were staying.
Our concierge recommended TUGA.
We were picked pay the hotel and brought back complementary by Sonny in his beautiful Escalade who happens to be one of the owners. Talk about service! Sonny was awesome and so personable. The restaurant itself was very cute and the food was out of this world.. fresh tequila shrimp and Tomahawk steaks were amazing. We ordered a lot and Everything we tried was delicious!! Brittany was our server and she was such a sweetheart.
We will definitely be back when we visit the Bahamas again!! Thanks to Sonny for making our night a 5 star ⭐️ experience!!

Im Kendrick. L and I had a great time at The Tuga restaurant for my birthday dinner on 16th of January.The Manager Shanny was customer service ready. My waitress by the name of Madi at the time gave over the top service with politeness and smiles. She also was vary helpful in taking group photos and giving recommendations for different foods I enjoyed that Mac & cheese Lobster) that is on the menu. There was a guy that did a great job with helping bring out my cake and lighting the candles I didn’t get his name but he was kool and ready to go an extra step further for the customer.
Thank you Tuga staff on a job well done I hope to be back in the near future.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.
Was here to celebrate with friends for a birthday celebration. Service was pooooor. 1. Wasn’t welcomed at the door.
2. Waitress was not helpful mainly passive and not engaging.
3. Hostess/ server assistant “Shanny” was utterly disrespectful.
She brought the wrongs drinks to the table and when asked to correct it, she nearly broke her neck with attitude to look in my face and tell me I said something completely different as if I’m a 2 year old who doesn’t understand the difference between yes and no. No professionalism at all
In continuation she was dropping food any where and don’t understand standard of service. Please revisit hospitality training with front of house.
4. Bread was delivered and no butter knife, and because we waited at least 25-30 minutes for it we ate with our hands just to satisfy our stomach.
5. We had food before the said silver ware was placed to the table. One person was completely left without silver ware until time to enjoy her 2nd course.
6. Persons that arrived late was completely disregarded. In addition they was ask to order their own drinks at the bar.
7. Thankfully 85% of food items was good and I was pleased with flavors and presentation.
This was by far the worst being in this industry I know that a larger party can become overwhelming but the guest should never feel as if they are bothering or nagging the waitress for the bare minimum of service. Please train staff to the 5 star quality of service that you label the restaurant to and the ambiance it gives.

I wanted to love this place, I really did. We were visiting Nassau and searched up top restaurants and this was at the top of the list so we expected amazing. We were picked up from the Baha Mar which was complimentary and a nice touch. Our party of 4 was seated at 8pm. We had the manager serving us. Our drinks were good and we ordered the meatballs as an appetizer. They tasted good but weren’t very warm inside but ate them anyway as we were starving. I had ordered the special fish of the day which was a Parmesan crusted mahi. It came over cooked and super dry. The manager never came back to ask how our meal was until everyone else was done eating so when I informed her, she did apologize and offered to replace it but I said no, as everyone was done by that point. When the bill came, she gave me 20% off my meal which was $9 worth. I told her this was not exceptable as fish was my meal. She then removed it from the bill completely as it should have been done the first time and I noticed the service charge went from $44 to $76 when she removed it. I told her this makes zero sense and I felt like I was being scammed. I said she owed me money to which she called the owner and they paid me cash for the difference. The owner did reach out the next day and told me there are issues with the POS system. Lesson here, check your bills!!!! Felt like we were definitely being taken advantage of which I did not appreciate. We were planning on going upstairs to the nightclub after but after this incident, there was no way I was going to be staying and spending another cent. Check your bills!!

samd54Ottawa Thank you for your response. As explained the following day, our Montreal based POS system had a bug in which we raised a support ticket the very next day. It is unfortunate that the Service Charge appeared twice and a refund was given back right away before you left the restaurant. This bug was out of our control, and we are very sorry for this.
As for the Mahi fish, you had ordered it Well Done, which is never recommended for delicate fish like Mahi... Going forward after your table, we have informed our chefs and waitresses that we will no longer cook Mahi Well done, even on request of a client. If they still want it well done we will make sure they know it will come out dry.

We went for drinks. They took a long time to arrive. My friend wanted to order sliders. They took so long that we cancelled them. Also, my friends ordered a mojito and it took 30+ mins. We were told that we would get free shots if we posted a review but it’s only Apple shots that were free. Even the cheapest tequila needed to be pains for. The music is good tho

We walked in and stood at the podium waiting for who we assumed was the hostess as she was standing behind the podium, when she got off the phone we told her we where there for dinner and she informed us she did not work there ( she was standing at the entrance behind the podium where I would think a hostess would be) so we looked in the restaurant and caught the eye of one of the waitresses and asked to be seated. We where seated and ordered drinks, when we received the drinks we noticed that all the staff where going outside to the bar for their drink orders and leaving the door open while doing so which would explain why it was so warm in the restaurant. We ordered appetizers which where good and then ordered our main course which came on the same size plate as the appetizers so that any time we had to cut our food it went on to the table ( plates are way too small for an entree) the staff seemed a little confused as to who should be greeting guests as we saw two couples come in look around and when no one approached them they left. The food was good but it just seems whoever is managing the restaurant needs to step it up.

I can’t even begin to express my disappointment! Went there for a pre-bday celebration. Service was low-vibrational from the door. The waitress was equally as uninterested. Our table tried to liven up the event but the waitress was just not interested in being friendly. The cocktails we ordered was sugared to death and the spicy salmon we ordered came anything but spicy after we ordered extra spice. I can’t begin to express my utter my disappointment. We ended up leaving and going to Meze Grill.

My first visit here was for my birthday in December 2024, the service we received was not the best at all. I expected great services based on the recommendations we got, the food was good but our servicer didn’t follow up and checked to see if we needed drinks etc. I came back for a friends birthday and the service upstairs was totally different from the service downstairs.Our servicer was Maurice and he checked on us followed up to ensure that everything was ok and kept the drinks coming. Highly recommend

Tuga Supper Club provides a great atmosphere, especially if you want to get away from the resort for a bit. Wonderful atmosphere, great food and amazing drinks. If you are lucky, Maya will be your hostess and will take care of everything!! She provided a cool vibe and made us feel very comfortable. Not only is Tuga a hidden gem, so is the staff.

We had the best time at TUGA!!
Our party of seven was looking for a nice restaurant off the resort (we were staying at Baha Mar) The concierge suggested this place and it did not disappoint. We were actually picked up and brought back to the resort complementary by Sonny who is one of the owners. Talk about service!
He was so cool and personable. The seafood and steaks were amazing and fresh. The lobster Mac and cheese was off the hook! We ordered a lot and everything was sooo good including the drinks. Britney our server was attentive and sweet. Then after dinner they had entertainment in their garden w a DJ..we really had a blast.
Def coming back to this place next time we hit up the Bahamas!

I attended Tuga with some friends to celebrate a birthday. Everything was exceptionally well & a very fun , clean , nice environment . The ambiance was 10/10 , our waitress Danielle was absolutely AMAZING , she made us felt welcomed from the start to the finish, made us laugh & also super comfortable we really enjoyed her service she was able to tell us all about the menu and also gave great recommendation for drinks and food. Overall everything was amazing definitely will be back!

Absolutely incredible experience from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. The dinners were astounding - subtle flavors, inventive interpretations of basic dishes that were elevated beyond expectations! The service (Shanny, Dragon and Lino) were impeccable and we will be coming back!

I had a fantastic experience at Tuga celebrating a friend's birthday. The menu had something for everyone : oysters, tuna tataki, shrimps, lobster Mac & cheese, truffle tagliatelle and lamb. As it is a supper club, we got to enjoy dinner downstairs and then went upstairs to party. All complemented by a vibrant atmosphere, great music and a shisha. An unforgettable experience, highly recommend to both tourist and locals!

This hidden gem is tucked away and a little hard to find, but SO worth the experience.
The lobster mac and cheese was melt-in-your-mouth ambrosia, and if you ask CJ for the Treasure Chest of drinks, you will be blown away - 2 signature cocktails (served in a literal smoking treasure chest) that are nothing short of incredible, and 6 shots... we gave him a few basic preferences and he produced 6 works of wonder.
The service (by Lee) was the perfect combination of attentiveness and space, meaning she took great care of us without excessive hovering.
You will not regret your time here!
