Returned for dinner for a third time in 3 years. Meals still good and service friendly. Sit outside if you can as seating is basically on the water . Captains Table is not fancy, but very good, and consistent food and service. We will return !

This place seemed very exclusive due to the difficulty of getting a reservation (you must have your hotel call, and then even when you arrive at the Lyford Cay community gates, the gatekeepers gave us a hard time, even though we told them we did in fact have a reservation). By the time we got to the restaurant (which was... More

Returned to the captains table and was not disappointed with the food. Fish and chips outstanding. Saw specials listed on the board but the bar menu was all that was on offer from 3-6pm. This was fine. Prices reasonable. Casual dining. Overall, a hidden gem. Didn't give 5* because I thought service could have been better and very surprised to... More

A real winner with me and my guests! It has been refurbished since its old Mrs Fergusson days and although it's not so gritty, it's far better with excellent Bahamian and international dishes. It is still informal and a little rough around the edges but a favourite for a Lyford cay casual option!

This is an excellent spot for foodies as the chef/owner is extremely meticulous and makes every effort to ensure that ones dining experience is 100% fabulous. I especially recommend the Bahamian Cracked Conch as it is #oceantotable fresh and amazingly delicious. This quaint dining spot is most definitely a favourite of mine and sip sipt the desserts are baked fresh... More

Food is reliably good with range from Bahamian and pub favorites. Chef is excellent. Nice relaxed atmosphere - service can be slow - Just stay on Island time and relax to enjoy!

After dropping off my goddaughter at the nearby school, my friend and I went for a run then decided to call in here for a coffee and breakfast/brunch. Coffee was good - Nespresso is available. Service isn't great but we were in no rush. It's advisable to ask for the breakfast menu as the board tends to show lunch and... More

Captains Table is a small restaurant tucked away in Lyford Cay with a very relaxed aptitude sometimes a bit too much¡ but it is the Bahamas after all and soon after arriving you realize you cant hurry them, it´s just the way they are. The service is slow, but why would like the time to pass quickly in such lovely... More

Poor service, bad food unless its something fried then go for it. No atmosphere for being in a marina, they could do so much its a shame really.

Small, unobtrusive, casual / relaxed café / restaurant tucked away in a corner of the marina at Lyford Cay with very good fresh food, friendly service, and (in many cases) excellent puddings / cakes / cookies. Turn up for lunch in shorts and tee shirts, sit in or out, and eat well. Not gourmet and not gourmand but assuredly fresh... More
