Good authentic local food in an interesting location. A must for bonefish anglers visiting the bahamas!

My friend and I popped in here for a late afternoon snack with some other people staying at Swain's Cay with us. What a treat! Shine and his wife and daughter were so nice, and we had a lot of fun sitting waterside, watching them pull the conch out, shell it, and cook it right in front of us. The... More

Shine's Conch Shack is a great place to stop after a day fishing the flats. The conch conch salad was prepared in front of us- fresh conch taken out of shell, lemon, lime, peppers, onions etc served with ice cold Bahamian beer. Wonderful!! Shine is also world class fishing guide so conversation is about fishing or sports. Walls are decorated... More

The conch salad is "dive off the boat" fresh and wow! Made in front of you, enjoy a beer at the bar, and share fishing stories with Captain Shine. Your mouth will water!

The conch couldn't be fresher! Conch salad or cracked conch - it's delicious. Chat with some Mangrove Cay locals while you enjoy your conch and a Kalik. During the day you can watch fisherman and spongers come in with their hauls. The owners are great, even getting a first aid kit for me to bandage up a scraped elbow.

If you are ever in Mangrove Cay, do stop here. I didn't know that that rubbery shellfish could taste that good or be made in so many ways. Great to hand out, eat, drink beer by the crystal waters.

After a full day of bone fishing, we ate here. It's super clean, open air and right on the ocean. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing with handcrafted cocktails and dripping cold local beer while watching Anastasia exhibit her knife skills as she prepared our conch salad. All ingredients were incredibly fresh, resulting in the best conch salad any of us had... More

A colorful and fun wAY to pass the time in Androsafter one fishing. Belly up to the bar, order a cold conch ceviche, and swap bonefishing stories with a Shine and the others there. His wife and son work there too and ally ae quite nice and welcoming.
