Tasty Bahamian Food with great entertainment. I even played a “saw”! Fun night on the island with fun , friends & even some dancing

Had a GREAT Bahamian meal with such a fun atmosphere. Julian even tried to teach us how to rake-n-scrape! Thank you sir for your hospitality!

Good local music and food. Always something going on and the fire pit is a good spot to watch the sun set.

The owner, Julian (?), and his staff are SOOOO amazing. Dornique (aka Miss King) makes the best cinnamon roles and cookies which you can preorder. She even made us 100 cookies to bring on our boat! Delicious food, friendly staff, great music.The staff is a font of knowledge about Cat Island and Bahama in general. You are treated as a friend while still receiving excellent service.

Good fried conch, fish, and other local food. There's a local rasta group that gathers here to play rake and scrape. They are so fun to hang out with!

The food was fabulous. The Rake and Scrape trio were delightful! Everyone took a turn trying to “scrape”. And we danced danced danced! Friendly lovely people run this place. Highly recommend.

This place attracts both the locals, expats and visitors for a great time! Just pop in for a drink and call ahead if you want dinner. We had excellent grouper, conch and lobster on our visits and fantastic peas and rice and slaw. Great local...fare and music if the guys are playing their rake and scrape. Sometimes others join in too. Lin is a delight behind the bar. He has some great stories about his family, friends and the island. We didn't make it, but we hear that on Sundays, they do an informal brunch where everyone brings food and shares with whoever shows up for free. Don't worry if you are staying at a resort and don't have a kitchen, they will still let you enjoy the food and fun per the locals. In our week there, this was our local pub, like we have at home. Stayed in Orange Creek on Shannas Bay so this was a close stop by.More

This is a must stop. They have a full bar and great food. The people at this establishment are wonderful. They drew a little map for my family of all the other places to eat on Cat Island. They make you feel like family. Also,...Lynn makes the best Bahama Mama around. He has a gold metal!!More

Da Smoke Pot is fine. The food is decent, the atmosphere is good and the music is fun. But this place is not worthy of near legendary status. The meal was no better than anything else I've had on the island. The atmosphere is laid...back and quirky, but the entire island has those characteristics. For my money, I prefer other places. Go to Hidden Treasures, better food, right on the water, and Cat Island quirky/charming. Da Smoke Pot is fine and if you're on the island for any period of time it's certainly a consideration, but you can do better.More

Great food, make sure you have a reservation as they cook everything fresh. Had conch and lobster. Served with coleslaw and potato salad. Great music there and a great atmosphere.
