We ate here 4 years ago and it was incredible. At that time, they opened for lunch at 12 and we were told to arrive early to get in line. When we got there at 11:45 there was already a line and the place was...PACKED until we left. The fish dishes were so yummy; cooked to perfection. Fast forward 4 years and it was a whole different experience. There weren't many people there and the food was not nearly as good. We had a shrimp dish and a lobster dish. Both were overcooked making the fish rubbery. It was expensive but so are all the restaurants on Exuma/Little Exuma. I had a rum punch for $14 but it was very good. My husband had a non alchoholic fruit drink and was charged $16.00. I questioned why his drink was so much and more that the one with alcohol and the server just shrugged her shoulders. We had much better food on the island. Sorry to say we were very dissapointed.More

Great seaside restaurant in Exuma. Located on the east end of Little Exuma in the settlement of Williamstown is this little gem. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Its a small menu but everything is fresh and made to order. Fun drinks and great conversation...with other patrons. This was our favorite spot to eat in Exuma.More

Excellent food and the location is beautiful! We had the crack conch and jerk chicken, both really good. The service was great!

This a must go to restaurant. The food is divine. The Snapper, Lobster were delicious. Pina Colada’s were huge and fantastic. Location is spectacular, right on the ocean.

We had the worst experience at Santanna’s. 4 of us came here for lunch at 12 pm. We did not get served food until 13:45 pm when only 1 plate came out. The other 3 plates came out 20 minutes later. We also waited for...drinks for about an hour when only 2 drinks came out, the 3rd one came 15 minutes later (we only ordered 3 drinks). So the service was horrible but the food even worse. Dried out fried lobster with coleslaw that was like chewing cardboard. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The only good thing was the view of the ocean.More

Usually go to santanas twice a week. Every week we are here. 10 years now. Sad to say not again. Two grouper meals and 2 dacaries $138 bucks. Not the Santana s I am use to. So sad to raise prices that much in a...year.More

The drinks are over the top! Great food and service. This is one place I always return when visiting the island. This time had the shrimp and the cooked onions just set it off.

Among the best food on the island. Well-known for the cracked lobster but I have a shellfish allergy so i order the grouper which is always so fresh. Comes with peas and rice, and fried plantain on the side with some coleslaw. Carmelized onions on...top and in the sauce. You think there is no way you can eat it all but so delicious you can't stop. Gorgeous view over the water, and often some sharks to see in the water. It's a long drive, but nearby Tropic of Cancer beach is the most beautiful beach on an island of beautiful beaches. And make sure to go next door and get a rum cake to take away from Mom's Bakery (same owners).More

Santana’s is a bit out of the way if you’re staying in Georgetown (30+ minutes, $50 taxi each way), but the food and the experience is worth the trip. All the food was fresh and great. We had the fried lobster and cracked conch. So...good. Best conch we had on the island. I’d recommend getting there early (right when they open) and treating yourself to a strawberry daiquiri. It was a treat. If you’re renting a car, head to Tropic of Cancer beach for the afternoon and enjoy the beautiful beach and water.More

Good views for sure but the menu was limited and the food while tasty was overpriced . Get out of dodge by 5:45 or you will be swarmed by hungry mosquitos!

This is definitely an “island time” restaurant. We did wait a while for service, but once we got our meal, it was delicious! I had the cracked conch which was great, hubby had grouper, also great!

My husband and I visited the highly rated Santanna’s and were a little disappointed. The drinks were great, but none of the seafood options that have been mentioned were available. At the recommendation of the bartender, we ended up getting pasta Alfredo which was boxed...pasta, frozen vegetable, and Alfredo sauce for $22, and crack chicken for $20. The only other option on the menu was shrimp and in retrospect should have gotten that one, however I didn’t realize the pasta had no protein in it. For the lunches, one cocktail, and a local beer, the total bill was $79 including the already included gratuity and the tax. The drive took an hour to get there so we weren’t just going to leave to eat elsewhere. The atmosphere was cool and the staff were very nice, just the food left much to be desired for the hype and the price. We were able to get a rum cake at Mamma’s bakery right next door, so that was also a plus while being out that direction anyway.More

No where else you’ll have amazing fresh seafood on crystal clear beachfront protect and see lemon sharks while you eat! Rum punch was great, Lobster, shrimp, chicken and pasta were all delicious. Best part is you can walk over to Mom’s Bakery and grab dessert,...two amazing “must - do” while you’re visiting Exumas. We were recommended other establishments, while we enjoyed some other local stops, Santana’s was our favorite and wish we dined here more! This is a must stop.More

Bring cash when traveling to Exuma. You will need it for more than any other place we have visited in the Caribbean islands. Don’t worry about exchanging for Bahamas Currency. USD is always accepted.
