We had a few meals here while staying at resort. Staff were friendly & attentive. View was beautiful. Several menu choices at every meal. Food arrived at good pace. Servings reasonable size. Not cheap, especially drink prices!
Staying at Grand Isle, we are numerous meals here. Did not try breakfast as we made coffee in room and bought some light breakfast for in suite. There’s nothing we ordered that we didn’t like. Lunches included Cobb salad, grouper sandwich, burger, panini - all...good. Dinners included grouper, snapper, shrimp and grits, conch fritters, guava duff, key lime pie - all good as well. The view is poolside at Grand Isle.More
The staff is phenomenal here. Patrick took amazing care of us at the bar and always greeted us by our name and a smile. We were always excited to go to the bar and pool and Patrick was a major reason why!!
Enter the security gate for Grand Isle resort. Tell gatekeeper you are going to the restaurant. We ate light after a long flight so only had wings and a salad. We'll review a full meal later. Wonderful view, pleasant service. Pricey, but so is everything...here.More
Great casual restaurant by the pool. The lobster roll was delicious and service was friendly. Pina colada was yummy and the atmosphere is relaxed and fun.
Visited with family for a reunion meal and had a wonderful time. Service was very friendly, thoughtful and attentive. Food was large portions and well cooked. Delicious. Will be happy to visit again.
The Palapa Grill is a friendly restaurant, good food, friendly service- the kind of place where the servers remember you. Also easy place for carry out while staying at the Grand Isle.

I dont think you need to be a guest to eat there. Just call in advance for a reservation.
Lunch was from 12 to late in the afternoon and dinner was from 6 or 6:30 if I remember correctly.
