Quaint country pub, very enjoyable visit, the food was lovely, I had halibut which was excellent. Staff were good and the service. Quite pricey

Great pub and fantastic dinner. The lobster bisque was quite possibly the best starter I have ever had. Book early as it's always full.

We had scallops (the sausage under scallops was really not good), lobster bisque (not enjoyable), steak (very chewy), turbot and sole - both fish seriously under seasoned, not even a hint of salt. I don't understand the great reviews... We will not be returning.

We stopped here for lunch and were not disappointed. Local fish is excellent. We would return if in the vicinity.

I think they do but it's probably best to check the website or phone them. They are really helpful.

All the staff are the same, both front of house and in the kitchen, previous landlord was not in the kitchen full time as they ran another restaurant nearby. We have eaten here 3 times since the new owners have taken over... More
