We were recommend Le Maraval by a French couple that we randomly met over breakfast at the start of our 17 day 'glamping' tour around France. We had no real plans for our trip, except to head North to South in search of good food, adventure and hopefully some decent weather. The French couple that had given us the recommendation... More

We ate here as a group for Sunday lunch. Sandrine & Eric met us as soon as we arrived in the car-park - they were genuinely interested in making us welcome. The food was typical French farmhouse fare. Our inclusive meal of rich vagetable soup, cold meats and freshly baked bread, breast of duck with roast potatoes, a cheese (local)... More

Rustic traditional cuisine, Le Maraval is quite an experience - but we loved it! The most amazing goose and roast potatoes!

Very sociable evening with Eric, the host, amusing and attentive. We spent 3 hours having a good meal including some aperitifs and red wine in the cost. Good value. Good company. Lovely setting. Would recommend this. Near to Cenac et St Julien where there are not many restaurants open in the evening in June.

After seeing the sign for this Ferme Auberge and then reading reviews we decided to make a booking in advance. For two days we were looking forward to our dinner and last night, we were not disappointed. We decided on the 18 euro & 27 euro menus and thoroughly enjoyed all courses. The portions were of the right amount so... More
