Had a fantastic evening meal here. The seafood was just beautiful, plentiful and super tasty. Lovely views from the dining room. Excellent service. Would highly recommend a visit here for a meal if you're on the area.

Sensational food with tastes for fit a king but portions fit for hungry cyclists. Especially awesome were the crab cakes and the cheesecake Beautiful views from the conservatory and a great trip home during which Archie the local taxi driver took us a tour of all the sites and gave us a discourse in local history. Eat here and have... More

Seafood platter starter is definitely for sharing - not for 1 unless as a main course. Langoustines were divine. Mussels and Scallops were good but the crab claws, although OK, were evidently not as fresh (or overcooked) compared to the rest of the platter. Mains of Orasay scallops were filling as was the seafood Mornay. A comfortable hospitable venue serving... More

They do have a cheaper menu if you want egg mayo. a boiled egg with mayo on top. nice food but just nowhere near that kind of money, you would expect a lot better for the cost.

Ate here when I was staying in the Inn. Plenty of choice on the menu and lots of fish and shellfish options. I ended up having the steak. It was cooked just as requested and very tender. Didn't have a dessert, but eyed up those that other diners were having and they looked really tasty.

This hotel restaurant was the nearest to the cottage we stayed in so naturally we had to try it. It was so good we went twice during our week there. My wife had a seafood risotto that was piled high with langoustines, lobster, and scallops. I had Hebridean Venison. The portions were so large we were glad we hadn't had... More

We excited having read reviews. Were very disappointed. My husband's steak grey and little flavour. Sent back kippers for breakfast wich were over cooked and out of a packet. Salmon was overcooked and salad consisted of lettuce, cucumber and tomato for which we were charged £18.

HazelTBournemouth decided to have 2 bites at the cherry by posting a longer and also potentially damaging review under Orasay Inn Hotel. Our management response can be read there (where her review really does stand out among the others) and one can draw one's own conclusions. More

Have eaten here for several years now.Need to book,as its a small hotel.Family run,and food locally used, including sea food and game. All very well cooked and presented, and a varied menu.Excellent views out to sea complements the occasion.Staff very attentive. Its tucked out of the way a bit,but signed and worth it.

We had booked a week before but they seemed surprised to see us even queried were we sure we had booked, no explanation given but got in! There was a specials board as well as standard menu. Both starters hit the mark good quality and quantity. The mains both looked the business in particular the Hebridean paella which was packed... More
