Went there for a Family ReUnion, a party of about 17 adults. French only, but some people do understand "some English". The menu is in french only. A bit pricey for some food items but servings are quite generous.
Had the Garlic Escargot and my...husband had his with cheese. Very tasty, but could of done with abit more bread to soak up the garlic butter. For the main we both had Coquille de fruit de mer. For starters, I am sure they use instant potatoes piped on as the topping. Mine was cold in the middle so I sent it back for reheating. When it came back, the salad had been also refreshed with more dressing, The dressing was a house vinaigrette, tasty. They gave me a discount on that. I was not looking for one but a nice touch.
The others in the party had burgers and fries. I nibbled on some fries, YUMMY. A few had steak, they seemed to like their food.
Beer and Wine prices were normal. Standard beers not sure if they had draft because I only saw cans. BIG CANS of beer in front of my brothers-in-law.
We had a bottle of Luis Felipe 32, just under $30.00. It was a nice dry red.
The only drawback for this place is that it is a very small place and very popular with the locals. And the main (most) of the dining area is outside under some shelter. There are some tables for couples inside but a very few and it's a tiny area. My husband and I left just as it started to rain (downpour just as we got to our vehicle), the rest of the group quickly huddled into a sheltered area because were we were seated it was very open. Also there is only ONE BATHROOM FOR EVERYONE!
There was a (duo) band playing. But we were seated right beside them and the speakers.
As for the one server that looked after us, she was good and tried her best to get the food out and get the orders right. She spoke some English, but I was the only "Anglophone" in the group so language was not an issue.More
