Some of the best sushi around . My children love coming here with the moving carousel. Delicious! We were here for dinner and the staff could not have been more attentive . Will be back

worst service I can recall for a very long time. Our visit started bad and got worse - we booked for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). When we arrived we were told to head to the back of the restaurant. Th place is tiny...so we squeezed through and had to rummage through the random mess in the back to find some menus as we couldn't get the staff to notice us. Waited 20 minutes before heading to the front and asking politely to please come take our order - seems they were too interested in coordinating takeaway orders to serve customers in the restaurant. We got our order in and waited around 10 minutes for a sushi platter. This was OK - portions were a little small but OK. The issue was the kids food - at this stage 6 and 9 year old are tired and hungry and we cant share due to fish allergies. We literally finish our platter and no kids food and impossible to get any attention from the staff in this tiny dark place. I head to the front of the restaurant once again and frustratingly explain that this is unacceptable and within a few minutes we get what I think was two chicken rolls cut up and an apology saying that we wont be charged for the kids rolls. It wasn't what we ordered for the kids but OK - we ask for another roll and whether there would be a long wait and we are told yes, unless its just avocado so we skip. Kids finish their meal and our long awaited second meal (Bento Box) arrives looking nothing like the picture or what we thought we ordered. We had already given up on the Bento were getting ready to leave but OK we are invested now and don't want to make another scene.. What a horrible experience and unlikely to ever be back. Only compensation was that there was a genuine apology (apparently they were really busy) and they didn't charge for the kids sushi roll and drink - somewhat irrelevant but at least they acknowledged the disaster.More

Had a great entree and main at Kawasaki. Only thing was the lighting and ambience in the restaurant made it feel a little bit dark and dingey. Nontheless the food was great and customer service was on point.

We went early dinner which is popular with young kids. They loooove the lil boats bringing yummy food around. Friendly staff and loved the food. Great atmosphere...small but cosy.

While it doesn't look like much from the outside, the interior was absolutely stunning. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the service very quick. The menu is not a run-of-the-mill Japanese menu, and is SUPERB! (Especially for a vego!) The food was delicious...and I could've ordered most of the items off the menu. Will definitely be returning.More

Following a recommendation we ventured here and tried some of our favourite tried & true dishes. The freshness & quality is superior to most other Japanese restaurants we have been to in the past. Highly recommend

We visited Kawa-Saki Sushi Boat and Grill Bar for the second time in as many months. Everything we had was delicious. We had rice paper rolls, deep fried soft-shell crab, Japanese fried rice, okonomiaki, gyoza (pork and prawn), beef yakitori and crispy tempura vegetables. Everything...we had was very good. We will be back. Great to have a quality Japanese restaurant in the West!More

Japanese is our favourite cuisine for dining out. Whilst this is not a Sake equivalent, this is much friendly on the hip pocket. The sashimi is fresh and the sushi is made literally in front of you. The stools up at the bar/boat table can...go up and down so little kids can sit up there quite easily. They are extremely welcoming and understanding of small children and made sure they were catered for. We ordered Miso Soup and the sushi platter and were quite happy.More
