Visited this lovely country pub with a friend a month or so back. Very reasonably priced food and drink. Good ales and beer on tap. Both my friend and I had a starter and main and drink and the bill came to under £40.

Went here on a Friday evening, very busy bar area and plenty of people eating. Served quickly by very attentive staff. Chose the Camembert to share as a starter, perfectly presented. Then had the chunky beef chilli, lovely with home made tortillas and rice, well...More

Very nice pub which did a fantastic Ploughmans Lunch! You could have either a meaty one or cheese. They were enormous and cost £10 each. I could have done with a half-size, so ended up bringing half of my cheese home with me. Pleasant atmosphere...More

I've been a couple of times with family and have always had a good experience. Food is much better than i'd expect from a village pub without being pretentious. Large well kept rear lawn is great for the kids. Would definitely go back

We enjoyed the lovely roast pork, for Sunday lunch, and were not disappointed, it was tasty, hot and plentiful, my only criticism,if I had to give one was that the roast potatoes were not crispy, but they did taste nice. The desserts we had were sticky toffee pudding...More

There are a few tables in front of windows. I'm sure when you book the girls will sort you out a nice bright table if you ask them.
