Service is very efficient; staff is very attentive and fast to serve your drinks and meals. Prices for lobster are very affordable and it comes with beans, rice, tortilla soup, salad and home made tortillas.... More

The 1 1/2 pound lobster was huge. It came with family size portions of rice and beans and large homemade tortillas. We sat on the patio with a beautiful view of the ocean. Service was excellent. They had mariachis providing entertainment. I highly recommend this place for a great experience. Excellent value.

I'll be dinning here on Saturday with a large group of people and saw on another site that they use lard in their beans here. :( other than salad and chips and salsa and suggestions other than drowning myself in booze to forget how hungry I am?

We drove to puerto Nuevo just to taste the Ortega's famous lobsters with the incredible tortillas. The view was amassing. The place is huge but the service is good. The lobster comes wit rice, beans and the incredible tortillas. The combination is good but the Lobster is good. They have a very good wine list, you can taste wines of... More

Came here on a Sunday for lunch. Ordered tortilla soup and lobster and steak plate. Food was ok. The view from the dining table of the pacific ocean was amazing. Mariachi band was playing. The restaurant don't accept credit card, cash only.

Decided to take the wife and family for her birthday. Haven't been to Puerto Nuevo in 20 years, so I thought it would be fun to eat some of the delicious lobster that Ortega's is famous for. What a disappointment. The place has gotten HUGE and there was plenty of seating. Parking wasn't an issue either. However, we ordered the... More

The memories I will always have here are amazing. As I hope most people would experience -- this was my first stop in the infamous Puerto Nuevo lobster village. Family friends took us there and now this is where I recommend first timers go -- or Angel del Mar, because they both have the best views. Secured parking in a... More
