Great food. Affordable. Never encountered a dish or meal that wasn't enjoyed. Relaxing atmosphere. Terrific staff. Pride in what they do. They ENJOY having you "over for dinner".

The food is basic but good and there's plenty of it. You are sure to meet other anglers to chat about your days fishing. The view over La Paz bay is excellent.

If you're looking for an inexpensive meal or drink while overlooking the Malecon, this fits the bill. It's not fine dining, but the food was good. We went back a few days later for lunch.

My friend and I spent a week in La Paz. Tried a few other restaurants, but none matched either the quality of the food or the service at the Tailhunter. Especially recommend the fresh fish of the day. They were happy to prepare fish we caught as well.

When my partner and I sat down they said they had no English menu and seemed annoyed by us. After eating we both got sick. Hope it wasn't homophobia and poisoning. Cannot at at all recommend.

The absolute best way to end a great day fishing. Is to have the tailhunter restaurant transform your catch of the day to a great meal!

We ate at Tailhunter Restaurant for 6 days straight in October. We tried something new each day, and it was all wonderful. The price was great, my only suggestion was putting English on the menu, which they said was coming up on their next revision. Staff was friendly and quick to greet you and make you feel like family! We... More

I'm a dual citizen and love Mexico but as my first time in la Paz I was happy to return three times to tail hunter. Excellent food, wonderful waitstaff and great seating/rooftop areas. Don't miss it

Nice fresh fish and shrimp tacos, guacamole and a cold beer and juice. The place is located directly at the malecon and offers very decent and kind service and good food. The place itself is a mist see and has nice ambience.

This place has a lot of good review and maybe that's why the expectations was set high, maybe to high. We started off with empanadas which was very good and yellow tail sashimi, I prefer the sashimi to be served very cold not room temperature which this was. After I had a cheese French fries which was ok and hamburger... More
