I am usually stuck on there papas rellenas with aracherra, a truly fabulous choice, but this time my grandson ordered a taco gringa aracherra and I got hooked on these - absolutely fabulous! My friend who is vegetarian said the chili rellenos con queso were the best meal she ever ate.

The tacos here are the best ever. You can't not go to La Paz and not go here and try the food out. If you only go out one night you must try either of their locations. GREAT GREAT GREAT

There are two Rancho Viejo's in La Paz. One is on the Malecon, the other, this one is one block off the Malecon. The one off the Malecon seems like the better restaurant. I am not sure if it was just the ambiance or the location but the food tasted better. Lot's of people go there and it is mostly... More

We enjoyed very diverse meals on Christmas Eve when just a few restaurants were open close to Marina Cortez. This restaurant has great waiters, turns over tables fast, and delivers authentic good mexican fare with a smile. I later found Rancho Viejo 2 further down the Malecon, but never ate there, although they have sidewalk seating facing the Sea of... More

Maybe it was an off night, or the dishes that we orded, but our food took about 45 minutes to come out. I hate for that long delay to outshine the really delicious meal we had. We even went back, since the food was that good. The second time we tried before dinner rush (4pm?) and the same dishes took... More

Ate here twice during our stay in La Paz. Not the most scenic view but we enjoyed being outside. Very nice service, attentive, made sure we had all we needed. I liked the big platter with lots of sides to put on out tacos arrancheras; chilis, cucumbers, salsa, shredded col, etc. Was a good place to take a load off... More

The person we rented an apartment from recommended this place and were were only slightly disappointed. There are only a couple of tables outside here on the sidewalk. Service was extremely slow, even by Mexican standards, but the food was good and the prices very reasonable. We had shrimp and fish tacos, of course, what else does one eat in... More

The location is not fantastic, but the food and service were fantastic. We enjoyed a super delicious Molcajete after having chosen personally the meat. Friendly staff.

This is a great restaurant for casual dining. Good prices, a fabulous Mexican beef and vegetable concoction..I don't know the name. The fajitas are excellent. Nice location just up from the south harbour. Great breakfast and really good service. As always, cold cervesas or really good coffee or juice. You can eat outside and enjoy the sun or indoors, if it... More

There are a couple of these, but this one is only open at night - fancier than the malecon partner that serves tacos. Very nice place
