Good selection of Mexican dishes, large portions and great service. The flaming flan dessert is a nice touch.

We arrived in late from Isla Espiritu Santo and wanted to grab dinner at the closest restaurant from our hotel. We were warmly greeted and ordered drinks. I will say the food was good, but not what we expected. This is very much what you would find in the U.S. when you think of Mexican restaurants. Not a fish taco... More

This restaurant had wonderful authentic Mexican food. There were two different groups of musicians who came through and played while we were there which was fun. Dinner was concluded with a flan flambe that was presented with great flourish

We ended up at Los Magueyes as a farewell dinner for kayaking trip! It was disappointing to say the least! The waiter was rude and not very friendly, food was average (felt like a typical Mexican restaurant you would find in the USA/Canada, not in the heart of the Baja). We would not recommend eating here. There are far better... More

Los Magueyes is the go to restaurant for authentic mexican food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, you can't go wrong. The Tampiquena Arrechera (steak) meal is my favorite. It's served with chilaquilles, rajas and beans. The tortillas are hand made in the restaurant. Be prepared for Mariachis, as this is a popular spot for celebrations. Friendly, professional service and you don't... More

I took our group of 20 people there just before closing and they were very gracious to take care of us. The food was excellent and the service great. This was our 3rd visit to Los Magueyes and we plan to return.

We had lunch here during our stay in La Paz. It is a spacious well decorated restaurant. The margaritas were delicious. My enchilada was the best I have ever had. My husband's chile relleno was outstanding. The menu was varied . It was also in English. Service was good. It was also the only restaurant that I paid with a... More

Restaurant was very beautiful, food was good, margarita excellent, service fast and efficient. My only complaint is that it caters a little too much to tourists and tour groups. They are super efficient at moving people through from what I could see. There were several in when we were there, English menus, English speaking waiters, food coming quick. All nice... More
