Excellent food, great service, and really enjoyed seeing the birthday party that was going on for an 81 year old Señora! Margaritas were excellent, interior was lovely, and it was nice to have so many non-seafood choices. Service was great!

We were in La Paz for 4 months, Los Magueyes was our favorited Mexican restaurant. It was so convenient to the Hotel Blue. Every meal we tried was tasty. The la Paz families are there most frequented guests. It is truly Mexican.

We ate dinner here twice. It was recommended by the staff at our hotel. It's a really pleasant family type restaurant with great Mexican food. Not upscale, but great food and attentive service at an incredible price. The waiter we had both nights spoke excellent english and was an entertaining guy. It's a few streets back from the malecon, but... More

My husband and I were in La Paz for one night and asked one of the locals where to get good Mexican, well this is it! Service was great, and food even better. We had a tortilla soup, and each had a different Mexican plater, as well as three margaritas and the bill was all under 35 bucks! Can't be... More

This restaurant is the lunch stop on Rancho Tours La Paz-Todo Santos excursion, included in the price. They offered us what I expect was an abbreviated menu, tailored to the tour. I chose the fish tacos which I found very well prepared. Desert offered was flan. Beverages included for our table were two pitchers of flavoured water (hibiscus & tamarind).... More

This restaurant was highly recommended by a local, so we jumped on it and we're not disappointed.Be aware that it does not cater to American tourists (which is one of the reasons to go) so menus are in Spanish, but a number of the staff speak some English and are welcoming and helpful. My Spanish is minimal but adequate to... More

I really was hoping for a very tasty meal based on reviews. While mine was not in any way horrible it was to me bland and lacked seasonings. I order a dish with flank steak and chicken, peppers, onions, cheese and bacon. It came with a little re fried beans again not bad but bland. The portion was nice size... More

When you want to have the very best in Mexican food, go no other place than Los Magueyes. I loved the parrillada, service was top notch and the salsas are amazing. Home made tortillas and very cold beer.
