Similar seafood items to many other places around, but well done - good margarita, guac, pescado al mojo de ajo, and other dishes. Nice setting - off the road enough that it's not bothersome, but still right up front - and friendly service.

So enjoyed our dining experience at this very local restaurant. We both had the fried fish, which were excellent.

We normally avoid restaurants on the malecon, since they tend to cater to gringos (like myself), but Los Laureles is the exception. The clientele is 90% locals and Mexican tourists, which told us it was worth trying. We were absolutely delighted. The servings were huge, the fish was cooked juicy, tender, and flaky, the service was friendly, and the prices... More

We had a great time! Ate lunch herder across from male on. Various musicians came to the table. Bacon wrapped shrimp was delicious. We also has ceviche and oysters. Very modestly priced. Good service

Real life ghost story! Tonight we decided to have dinner at a seafood place in La Paz. When we were seated, I could feel someone looking at me (you know the feeling) but when I looked up, I couldn't see anything except this brightly painted pilar so I thought maybe I felt the waiter look at me and he had... Ate here one evening when Tailhunter Restaurant was closed (Tuesdays). Service was slow, didn't have preferred beer (Modelo Negra), and shrimp, which all four of us ordered was OK for two but poor for the other two, certainly nothing to rave about. Consensus, none of us would go back.

We tried the octopus al ajillo and shrimps a la diabla con queso. The portions were big and very tasty. The service from the waiters was great as well. We can really recommend this restaurant as an authentic Mexican (seafood) restaurant which attracts mainly Mexican customers.

My wife suggested this restaurant for lunch during our visit to La Paz. Its location provides nice views of the malecón and La Paz Bay just across the street. My wife had the Imperial Shrimp and I tried the coconut shrimp. I sampled the Imperial Shrimp and thought it was excellent. My coconut shrimp was well prepared and presented. there... More

We had been walking on the malecon and were hungry, and this was about the last place we saw, so we gave it a shot. The TV was so loud we could barely order, and it wasn't even crowded, or any kind of event on, just loud. The service was slow, and the place felt and looked run down and... More

We stopped for an early dinner after a lot of walking on the malecon. There were about 8 tables occupied. There were two TVs going with a Jack Ryan movie, with the sound, with dubbed Spanish audible. Lousy salsa's with the totopos (chips) one like thousand islands dressing, the other just Chernobyl hot tomato salsa. We had pescado veracruzana (fish... More
