You know when you are walking around and hot or tired or cranky or all three and need a pick-me-up, but don't want a full meal yet and then you happen upon an ice cream store? And you feel like it's a miracle? Well, that was what La Fuente was like for us. Then, it gets better: not only do... More

Oh yes, the ice cream looked amazing but the frozen fruit pops were the winners this pm. Pineapple and lime were hits with us. I'm sure we will have to stop in tomorrow to evaluate the ice cream. For 1.25 per pop, this place is my top of the list for sweets. Mmmmmmmm

There's a reason this place is so popular and always has a line - because it's that good. There are others and you don't have to wait - but this is the place. The place I ate at 3 times in 3 days. Pistachio ice cream Popsicle - This was the hit. Eat with care, hubbie got a couple of... More

I have been visiting La Paz for about 15 years and eating ice cream from the famous polka dot tree place, aka La Fuente! They have the most amazing flavors of ice cream and paletas. You can sample a bunch of flavors - I like their unique fruit flavors the best. They also have great cone cups. If you are... More

My family and I visited La Fuente on a recent trip to Baja with Lindblad Expeditions and National Geographic. During lunch, they served us popsicles from the ice cream shop. There were a variety of flavors to choose from, all which had raw ingredients in them. The pistachio popsicle was incredible! There were little pieces of the nut scattered within... More

The ice cream is the best in the Baja..... The ice pops come in about every fruit type grown in Mexico, all delicious but I'm partial to the LIMON that brings me back to my youth and the Italian Ice I came to love. Must go for a mid day pickup or take home for a guilt free late night... More

We were advised to not miss the ice cream at La Fuente, but I don't eat dairy and thought that there wouldn't be anything for me. I was wrong. Along with the large assortment of ice creams of both common and unusual flavors, there are also interesting and delicious sorbets (I chose Guanabana, which I know as Soursop) and a... More

In our short visit to La Paz, we have visited La Fuente three times already. You can't beat their ice cream. Each of us has loved the flavors we've got. PAY FIRST with what size you want, then choose your flavors. They were accommodating the first time and let us do it backwards. We knew to pay first next round.... More

Awesome ice cream! Lourdes and here staff will scoop a delectible cool treat for you. Be sure to ask for a taste if you're unsure. The local seasonal flavors are not to be missed - pitayaha and mango. If you're not into ice cream or sherberts, turn around and check out the selection of paletas - Popsicles in regular or... More
