We have eaten at Catrinas twice. The first time we had the specialty of the house which was four meats, cheese, cactus, peppers cooked in a big black pot. I don't remember the name of it, but it was GREAT! The second time we went there, we tried to order the same beef that was in the big black pot,... More

Coconut shrimp was great. The hot pot is something we did not try but meant to go back for. Atmosphere was great for friends. Nice little street setting. MARTIN was very entertaining. Would go back on our next trip.

Had the best meal of the week here. Nice outdoor seating in a pedestrian courtyard. They put big fans to help with the heat since there was no AC. I'd recommend the skirt steak quesadillas, though most of the other dishes on the table looked good too.

We walked along the main waterfront thoroughfare of LaPaz and came upon this small restaurant. We returned the next evening with our freshly caught cabrilla for happy hour. The fish was cooked to perfection so we returned the next night with trigger fish and they grilled the fish and prepared ceviche. Job well done. Now we have to go back... More

We were doing a day trip from a cruise ship and looking for a good lunch, margaritas and nice outdoor seating. We went to Carina’s because it was a bit less “touristy” and the owner said if we did not like the food we would not have to pay. We split a beef Mochete. This is a hot stone vessel... More

We came upon this place while walking the Malecon on a warm afternoon. Martin greeted us with a promise of 3 Margeritas for $100 pesos or 6 cold beer for $120 pesos and promised our money back if we didn't like the food. We walked by and about 15 minutes later, after not finding anything else that seemed better we... More

Martin is the main server here and speaks good English. We stopped by for drinks and stayed awhile, due to great drinks and friendly service! I had a virgin frozen margarita- huge and tasty. My husband had his margarita on the rocks and it was equally good. Staff was friendly and knowledgable about La Paz

We are a Mexican food Restaurant with inside and outdoor sitting. Enjoy our great specialty's, Mojitos and Margaritas. Don't be scared of our host "The Catrina" she's been here since Cristobal Colon discovered America and came down to Baja California Sur leaving her on the beach while she was collecting some shells.
