If you're into coffee, do yourself a favor. Pretty heady roastery. Great gift for friends. Nothing besides coffee. Most get in and get out.

Could not visit the actual cafe but was given a package of their coffee as a going-away gift and told to enjoy and remember Mexico with each morning cup of coffee. When the package is finished, I will have to return to La Paz for more! No indigestion and no caffeine jitters. Must be pure and natural.....

If you’re in La Paz and appreciate good coffee, Café la Choya is worth seeking out. It's a nice little espresso bar but the main attraction for us is that Café la Choya roasts and sells coffee beans from all over Mexico. For that reason, it’s a regular stop for us. Decaf drinkers know how hard it is to find... More

This is by far the BEST BEAN roaster in La Paz. Their selection of MEXICAN GROWN beans is fabulous. They obviously know how to roast correctly...non acidic flavorful concentrated aroma and taste!

Cafe La Choya is a fixture in La Paz, BCS, where Gringos and middle-class Mexicans buy their coffee beans roasted on the premises, offering a range tastes from weak to strong. It now has two outlets, the original on Calle Colima and the newer store on Calle Allende. Recognized by all as the best coffee available in La Paz, at... More

This cafe really only sells ground and whole coffee beans. It's a hole in the wall...size wise...I only saw and smelled fabulous coffee, didn't see any food . It's quite a few blocks back from the malecon. They were roasting fresh coffee...right there...you could see them working at it. You can buy freshly brewed coffee to drink there and mostly... More

Check it out - for 2 years I have been pointing out how such great coffee deserves a spell-check, but La Paz being the armpit of cutting edge - you will grow old looking for progress and intellect. So just enjoy the coffee and smile, estas en el tercer mundo guey

A local resident told us about this amazing coffee roaster. The best espresso we've found in La Paz.All the beans are from Mexico - Veracruz, Oaxaca and Chiapas, and roasted on site. Whole bean coffee (at about $7.50 a pound) ground to your preference, and coffee accessories (mugs, french press, milk frothers) also for sale. Very limited eats. They have... More
