My boyfriend and I had New Years Eve Dinner here and the food was good. It was not a very expensive restaurant, and service was great.

For our first night here we decided to have a Margarita before dinner and then enjoy a nice meal right here in our hotel. Very good choice - nice service - great, mild, and testily prepared white fish with fresh local vegetables, rice and nice atmosphere.

Nothing served was prepared properly. The lobster was over cooked and the guacamole was tasteless and heavy with oil ....yes oil. Apparently, oil keeps it green.

We've tried eating here three times in the past, the most recent being in September for lunch. The menu is somewhat limited, so we ordered flautas. They wound up being taquitos, which were fried too long, burnt, and had no flavor. It seems most of the other reviewers had their brunch, so maybe that's better. We'd rather go down to... More

Had breakfast here twice, excellent options and food was well prepared. Prices were also very reasonable, especially when paying in pesos due to exchange rate.

This is a lovely compliment to the hotel. The food is great, they have a live piano player playing all day, and a perfect view of the beach!

I actually like eating at Azteca. I've been going down there for years and there are certain things I really like. The shrimp cocktail for example is usually really good. It's a mexican version of a shrimp cocktail so it's shrimp mixed with tomato, avacado and onions in a clamato broth and served in a malt glass. When I'm there... More

Old Mexico at its finest. Take a step back in time when you go there. Love how this place makes you feel. It's an old hotel, so don't expect all the glitz and bells and whistles. We love coming here...we use coupons from travelzoo.
