We arrived and were impressed with the natural garden off one of the main streets of Todos Santos. There were blooming trees, shrubs and cactus everywhere. Someone definitely has a green thumb. They had hummingbird feeders near the dining area, and we watched the hungry hummingbirds enjoying their free meal.
The food was very good. We had an appetizer plate which was quite filling and others had fajitas and/or tacos.
On the menu - it clearly said only cash so you should definitely bring some. It can be USD or Pesos, but no credit cards are accepted.

We were so happy to have discovered this restaurant for lunch. We shared the Cesear salad with shrimp and the shrimp fajitas with flour tortillas. Both were fabulous. We absolutely loved the cactus garden. After lunch we walked through it - beautiful.

We had our first dinner on Todos Santos here. The cactus garden is really something to see and it is a beautiful setting. Our server was personable and spoke good English. This feels like a slightly upscaled restaurant compared to some Mexican restaurants. Their margaritas were OK. Their chicken molé was lovely, a slightly sweet version of molé. The prices are a bit higher than at some of the restaurants in town, but it is worth a visit if you are in Todos Santos.

This restaurant has a very nice setting in a cactus garden and the menu had some nice items. The food was ok. The cilantro sauce was nice but had a few bites of fish that tasted a bit fishy. The margarita was not good as compared to others during our trip. The alcohol seemed harsher then most. Lastly there was only one other family but our waiter seemed very distant. We had to get up to get condiments, never asked us how anything was, and in general wasn’t welcoming or very friendly. Maybe he was just having a bad day. Lunch was $50 for two entrees and one drink before tip so also was a bit on the pricy side for Mexico.

This restaurant has a lovely patio and an absolutely beautiful desert garden in the back. It would be a perfect event location for sure. However, after two mid-day visits trying many of the appetizers, we were never motivated to return for a full meal. Not that the food was bad but it was to us very average and pedestrian. The guac was particularly disappointing.

Situated in Todos Santos, a pretty town between Cabo San Lucas and La Paz, Los Adobes is a fine restaurant for anyone looking for decent food in an interesting environment. The differentiator is the beautiful cactus garden in the back, which is fun to walk through while waiting for your food. Service was decent, about on par for restaurants of its price point in the region. Food was average, with dishes being hit or miss. The Enchiladas receive high marks while the mole was slightly sweet and lacking in some flavor. Dishes range in price from $15-30, about average for restaurants of its class. As for which credit cards to use, the Chase sapphire preferred and reserve (3x points per dollar) are the best to use.

Look no further than this hidden gem. I felt so sorry for the people we passed eating their lunch at tables on the sidewalks of town. Come here instead! Had a delicious lunch here two days ago. Beautiful desert scape garden in the back yard, with lots of flowering cactus, well maintained garden and plenty to see from every seat in the restaurant. All COVID precautions taken. Now the food was fantastic. Started off with an appetizer of queso al cilantro, a fried cheese over a cilantro and onion verde sauce. Tasty but mild for most tastes. They used fresh queso for the cheese so it was light, could easily serve 3 or 4 for a small taste. My wife had the ceviche as her main course. Different than ours in California, had a tomato base to it and the fish was so fresh. I had the chiles en nogada, which was a poblano Chile stuffed with ground beef and ground pork, but had raisins and plantains inside as well, with a wonderful sauce on top. Would definitely order that one again! We'll be back and bring friends.

Los Adobes serves delicious Mexican food. A warning: the portions are enormous, enough for two people! I had a shrimp dish served with tons of fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked so they still tasted fresh. My husband's chiles rellenos were, surprising to us, made with dried pasilla chiles rather than the usual green poblanos. Filled with yummy mashed potatoes and served with pureed frijoles, these were the most deliciously different chiles rellenos we've ever tasted. Will be attempting to re-create this at home! The veranda dining area opens onto a spacious desert garden, peaceful and lovely.

Stopped in for lunch and Found a very nice patio setting overlooking a large cactus garden. Good first impression was quickly set back by a wait staff that was efficient but not very friendly, almost uninterested. The menu offered interesting takes on traditional items. We ordered a chicken soup and chicken fajitas, both of which were attractive dishes when served, but did not live up to the presentation. Certainly the food was not bad. However, the overall attitude of staff mixed with mediocre food would not entice me to return or recommend this restaurant.

Todos Santos is becoming a bit tacky now and you can expect most of the restaurants to sadly be focused on the US market rather than expressing the beauty of the Mexican food culture. Los Adobes is polished up for its market but the food let the mexican vibe flow through with quality and the garden setting with cacti was lovely. Nicely separated from the street vibe which is way too tacky for our tastes.

Very good food and service in a clean, pleasant, outside patio setting overlooking one of the most magnificent cactus gardens I have ever seen. We were in the southern baja for three weeks in four different areas eating meals out every day and this was one of the better restaurant experiences we had. Not one complaint about the place or the service or food. No problem with my credit card being accepted but be aware they do request the tip be in cash and there is no place on their charge approval ticket to add a tip.

We ate here our first night in Todos Santos. After flying all day, kicking back on their covered patio overlooking a beautifully manicured cactus and succulent garden was the perfect environment to decompress in. But there’s more— the food was amazing! Among other delectable delights, we had the mango gazpacho for an appetizer which they hit it out of the ballpark on. Clearly the background and training of the chef here shows. I highly recommend this restaurant for the food and the excellent service.

We read the many great reviews but were sadly disappointed. The garden in the restaurant is lovely but the food was bad. One of the shrimp dishes we ordered was literally a pile of frozen vegetable drowned in rancid frozen shrimp and sauce. We took one bite and spit it out as it was clearly spoiled. The other dishes were just ok, but we didn’t trust the kitchen so we left. I’m assuming they are struggling with inventory like many restaurants around the world but there is no excuse for rancid food.

We stopped today in Todos Santos looking for a relaxing spot on a Sunday and we found it. We heard good things about this place so we finally got the chance. The garden surrounding the seating area provides a pleasant setting. The food was great we ordered queso cilantro, arrachera and sopa tarrasca. All food was excellent. But what really topped it off for me were the margaritas. We enjoyed the Jamaica margaritas immensely- some of the best I've had in a long time. For dessert we ordered the Crepas con dulce de leche which was topped with a little dollop of vanilla ice cream. We left happy and looking forward to the next time we have some time in todos Santos. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

We visited on the advice from where we were staying. The decor was tasteful with a cactus garden. The food was good and the waiter friendly. We were the only diners, maybe as it was a Thursday night around 7:45? Total cost of two starters and two mains with drinks was $88/ÂŁ56, which seemed good value. I had the fish soup (more like a stew) which the waiter recommended which was extremely tasty. Well worth a visit.
