No trip to Todos Santa (or Cabo San Lucas) is complete without lunch at El Gusto. Located in a small boutique hotel near the ocean in Todos Santos, this gem of a place (slice of heaven, really) offers unpretentious, utterly fresh, beautifully presented dishes. Using the freshest of ingredients, the house salad is a feast for the palate and the... More

This restaurant is located at the Posada La Poza hotel. It is certainly the best food in town. It is small, quiet and with an excellent menu.

The restaurant has a lovely ambience, is well-decorated with nice pictures and artefacts. The meal was very good, a delicious soup with thick vegetable and chilli for starters, followed by very well-cooked beef for me and red snapper for my wife, and a delicious little cake for dessert. Highly recommended.

During our honeymoon in Todos Santos, we had occasion to dine at El Gusto! more than half a dozen times. Each dish, from the elegantly simple Ensalada de la Casa to the perfectly prepared filet was very evidently crafted with great care and obsessive attention to detail. Owner and Chef de Cuisine, Jeurg Weissendanger, leaves nothing to chance. His ingredients... More

We were on our way to Todos Santos and saw the signs along the road for this restaurant and hotel. Followed the signs and came upon this place and were we glad we did. Lilly and her husband have created a wonderful oasis in this barren land. They are right next to the beach so you have a wonderful ocean... More

My partner and I first stayed at the lovely boutique Hotel Posada La Poza about 6 years ago before purchasing property near Todos Santos and recall having some great breakfasts as guests of the hotel. But only recently we returned on 2 occasions to have dinner in El Gusto, the hotel's restaurant. We were warmly greeted by the owners amidst... More

Our party of 5 had spent an drove out to El Gusto. Having eaten there before, I had raved to my travelling companions about the spectacular setting and the fabulous food at El Gusto. When we arrived at the locked gated main entrance, we were met by a woman who curtly informed us that they were very busy and we... More

Hi, we are responding to your review instead of asking tripadvisor to remove it. Reason for doing so is that we think it highly unfair to judge our services for something you have not experienced. You were told at the gate that we have no time for showing you around as it was in the midth of a busy lunch... More

The place is a bit hard to find but well worth the adventure. Caring and accommodating staff. We could have lingered the entire afternoon over a delicious lunch of fresh fish, salads and drinks.

We took the drive up to this hotel to enjoy the view, have lunch and review Libusche's art. It was not quite noon and there was only one other table of people. We ordered a drink on the upper patio, decided since we had had a late lunch that we would forego a meal in the meantime and head over... More

thank you for having taken the time to write your report. Maybe it is politically not correct to answer with our viewpoint, but we do it in this case. You entered the restaurant at prime lunch time claiming that you wish to have a table for 6 for lunch. Request which was met and you had two table with a... More

Description
Wonderful location on the shore of the Pacific to enjoy your lunch or dinner. Lunch is being served on the terrace overlooking a freshwater lagoon with an active birdlife. Dinner is offered indoors due to the cooler evenings and some upcoming winds. In Summer, we also serve dinner on the terrace. The terrace is called whale deck due to the wonderful view on passing whales in season (Jan - Mar). We serve day-fresh seafood and well cured prime cuts. Organic salads and vegetables from the region are a must. And we also speak Vegaterian and Vegan. Dinner reservation required.
