I recommend this place if you are going to eat cabrito. That is the best if you want something else than I wouldn't pick this place. My dad loved it because he is into that food. I didn't like it so much but I wanted more of fajita type food.

It had been more then 10 years that I hadn't eating a cabrito from this place. And I have to say, "They are the true king of the Cabrito in Monterrey".

The place to go eat Cabrito is most definitely this place. The food is wonderful-and they feed you so much food that you just won't be able to finish it all. The service is very fast and the atmosphere is friendly. Most definitely will keep going back.

Bar BQ goat is traditional to Monterrey, Mexico. Introduced friends and colleagues to some authentic aspects of cuisine in Mexico. A very nice selection of Tequila and cold Cerveza to start. Great guacamole and very tasty corn chips as an appetizer. Grilled babe goat was the main dish! The meat was tasty and tender served with frijoles and soft corn... More

These people know cabrito. I'm not a huge fan of cabrito, but you'll fall in love with it here. Service is excellent & you're treated greatly. Prepare to spend, but the entire experience is worth it. ¡PROVECHO!

As overwhelming as it may seem at first, this overly decorated and insanely jaw dropping restaurant serves the best food in the city (bold but still truth). Their main dish is Cabrito (spanish for baby goat) slow roasted over coals. Meat is so tender you will end up apologizing for being rude to it. Side dishes are a perfect match... More

Cabrito (Riñonada) and agujas de ribeye are probably the best choices on the menu, we love the guacamole divorced style, micheladas are always on point and the tortillas always delicious, bright red salsa is to die for... plenty of gluten free options and decent parking. Service can be slow at peak times but food would make you forget about that.

I received my food quickly and the service was professional. The goat shoulder was amazing. The place need a bit of update but who cares if the food is great.

I have mix feelings about this place. I think they do a good job making their cabrito, which is their specialty. However, there should be much more. I order arrachera (beef) and cabrito meat.Meat was only accompanied with onions, and a couple pieves of broccoli and nothing else. What happen to the RICE and the BEANS! What happened to the... This place reminds me of all the throwbacks from the 50's and 60's, relying on the legend to pull them through. Inside it's shrine to the family owners, with el Rey featured prominently in photos and video slide shows throughout the dated interior. The smell of the food cooking was really nice, the visual of the open kitchen fun, but... More
