The atmosphere was very classy and the service was great. 7 of us enjoyed a variety of food, shrimp pasta, pizza, the tortilla soup was amazing! We made a reservation before hand and were seated immediately upon arrival. Staff was friendly and our food and drinks were served quickly

Regardless of whether you are staying at an AI or not, you need to treat yourself to AT LEAST one meal at Terra Cotta! Kitty corner from La Crema across the street from the town square in La Crucesita, it is easy to walk to once you've been dropped off by taxi to the town square. Very large and modern... More

This was our 3rd trip to Huatulco and our 3rd visit to the Terra Cotta. Never disappointed! Very nice air conditioned restaurant, linen tablecloths and comfortable chairs. Prices are very reasonable. Their salads are fantastic, seafood and steaks always cooked to perfection. Most of the wait staff are Spanish speaking, but there is always an English speaking helper near by... More

It was a nice break from the traditional Mexican restaurants. Very clean place on the high-end side and the food had great selection and very delicious. The portions are not very large but they are worth every penny, there is fine eating here.

I would like to give them 3.5 score if it was possible. Large menu with variety and prices very reasonable (10-12$ US/ entree). Service however, even by Mexico standards was slow. In addition, when they brought us frozen margaritas instead of on the rocks as ordered, they seemed annoyed when we didn't want them. But with the limited restaurants in... More

I had made a reservation for 18 people the week prior via email from home. Received prompt response which was very much appreciated. My group also grew to include another 26 people the day of the reservation and we were given a second seating which was tremendous. The food and drinks were very tasty and various options are on the... More

We talked with people who considered Terra Cotta the best restaurant in Hualtuco if not all of Mexico so, as we were staying close by, had breakfast and dinner both a couple of times during our stay. The food was consistently good, not great, and the chocolate cake trumps the carrot cake. The margaritas were also very good. Service varied.

4 of us started with three appetizers (spinach dip, coconut shrimp, small suprema pizza). All were excellent. Entrees included fish tacos, chicken tacos, pecan coated fish fillet and chicken enchalatas. Large portions and excellent taste.

Had dinner here as a last minute decision and they were able to accommodate us. I'd read the reviews and had high expectations which I sometimes find is hard for a business . Husband had soup that was good but over salted and chicken stuffed with spinach which was OK but also over salted. I had salad with apple and... More

We ate dinner here and were pleased with both the service and the food. Very relaxed time, air conditioned, staff was very attentive and took very good care of us.
