Best place to get some good baked goods. From the bread pizza pockets to the pastries....can't be beat.

We stopped and bought pastries for a light breakfast three times while staying in the Golden Zone; all were very good. I left a metal neoprene case water bottle behind by mistake. Went back the next day with a picture of one on my ipad (very little Spanish spoken here) and they had it behind the counter! Very nice service.

We had dinner here a couple of nights ago, following the recommendations on TA. We arrived at the Panama in the Golden Zone on a Friday night, tried to go upstairs to the dining room, but were stopped, asked if we were meeting someone, then led to a booth in the downstairs area. Very noisy, with families and kids out... More

Panama is a very nice bakery with several locations in Mazatlan. We visited what I believe is the main location located very near the central city market. The lunch offerings are very good and very reasonably priced. It is very easy to figure out the system to select and purchase bakery items for takeout. The staff is friendly and professional.... Such great Mexican food for a great price. It is all good. The slushy mango drink is so good. They also have some of the best pasties in Maxatlan that can be purchased for take home.

While traveling through Mazatlan, four of us ate breakfast here. Meals range from very traditional Mexican food to traditional American Continental. Very busy but efficient. The bakery on site is outstanding, not too sweet, wow variety. Although I'm not overlooking the water, definitely a place to stop by and have a meal, or treat.

We went to Panama twice. The first time we had breakfast. The place is very busy. The food is fresh and the portions are very generous. We loved the food. The second time we had dinner and also enjoyed it. The service is very good as well.
