We ate here twice and enjoyed great food both times. The shrimp are very nice and the fish (mahi-mahi was excellent. There is live entertainment on the Plaza but it was not over-bearing. Wandering musicians are to be expected and small gratuity will get you some unexpectedly good singing - Miguel does a great Malaguena despite a very work guitar!

During this visit to Mazatlán we are here for only one month although we wish it would be longer. Twice we have had wonderful breakfasts at this restaurant and were very satisfied both times. The omelets were prepared well and presented beautifully with salsa, beans, and delicious potatoes. The toasted bread buns weren't bad either! The waiter was attentive and... More

Right on the beautiful Plazuela Machado, this restaurant specializes in Italian food. We had lasagna and spaghetti and both dishes were tasty, well prepared large portions with excellent seasonings. The service was a little slow, but there were 10 in our party. The food was served hot, and the ambiance while good was enhanced by being located right on the... More

Great food and good service in a lovely location. The restaurant borders on a Town Square, as do several other restaurants. On week-end evenings there is music, and there are Mexicans selling their crafts, etc. A really lovely experience. I am not sure about music on week-nights.

Ideally located on the most picturesque square – La Machado - in Old Town Mazatlan. After wandering through the old city we came across the beautiful square and had some carefree banter with one of the waiters soliciting customers. As we were thirsty and it being lunchtime we decided to stop in and have some pizza and beer. The staff... More

Our experience was very nice given that I had no expectations whatsoever. The drinks were very good to start. We were able to just kick back and enjoy the early evening as the sun went down and the lights in the plaza came on. It was wonderful to watch everyone start to congregate in the plaza as the evening went... More

I would say my meal was just ok they don't have a kids menu, and I find it is a bit pricey. others in our group had tortilla soup which was good and a chicken dish which was also good. The location is nice, and bathroom was clean.

Al Fresca dining in El Centro, at it's best! Wonderful soups, Ceaser Salads, and Margaritas. The service is excellent! Cannot wait to go back.

A new discovery at Plaza Machado. Excellent ceviche, with cucumber. The best Mole we have had in Mazatlan. Nothing better than enjoying Plaza Machado on a Saturday evening, watching all of the festivities and sitting enjoying a wonderful dinner.

We had dinner there on a slow night for the Plaza Machado but it is still exciting to eat right in the middle of all the action. We like the food here and like the service. We will return again next year
