We had a very nice meal, well served. This is a good place for Italian food. We ate at 2 restaurants connected with the El Cid and would highly recommend this one. Good service and food!

Great selection of pastas. The stone baked pizza is exceptional. Huge portions. Dine inside, outside or have the pizza delivered.

We've been here several times on the patio this winter. The pizza is always good with a nice bready but crunchy crust. We tried some of the other entres, but would recommend sitting/ordering those inside (more dressy) to avoid wait, cool food. Baked cannoli manicotii was cool and not browned as I would expect. Like most alfredo here, seems sweet... More

After our first week in Mazatlan and several nights of Mexican dishes and sefood, we wanted an Italian night. On our way into town on the bus, often we passed Villa Italia. All of us had a great meal, with terrific service and very reasonable prices for the amount of food we had. Salads are huge with enough for two... More

Delicious Italian food in the Golden Zone! We liked it so much, we ate here twice during our trip. I had a pasta dish with shrimp and ham that was just amazing, and my husband had fettuccine alfredo with shrimp. He loved it! Also tried the creme brûlée. Delicious!!

Great place, really pretty inside, outside patio (if you want to sit by the roadway). Staff go out of the way to make it special - we saw them setting up a very romantic table for a couple including red rose and rose petals! We had delicious pasta - hubby's meatballs might have been the best I've ever tried. I... More

We took a larger group which turned out to be a bad idea. Food came out at very different times. Pasta dishes were not as expected. One person described it as sauce like you get with canned spaghetti-os. Pizza and calzones were good.

On a recommendation from our friends we decided to try Villa Italia. They suggested that we make a reservation as it can be quite busy. We stopped in about 01:00 PM to make a reservation for that evening and they took down our name and made a reservation for 06:30 PM. When we arrived at 06:30 they did not seem... More

Haven't tried this place for awhile, so we gave it another chance. We are sort of opposed to eating in an Italian restaurant in Mexiso, but running out of choices arter two weeks. Frankly, don't know why it is popular. It does have very nice atmosphere. It is quiet, even romantic, and looks very Italian. However, it falls way short... More

Have been coming to Mazatlan for many years, the Villa Italiano is a favorite place to dine. Prices are very reasonable and the food is excellent. In all the years we have tried most all the menu and have never been nothing but pleased. If you want a lunch or afternoon early dinner ... try the patio pizza, brick oven... More
